We're Going to Beat South Carolina

no really, we are.

This is a great match-up for us and it is coming at the most optimal time.

South Carolina's overwhelming strength is their pass rush, which our OL should be able to mostly neutralize. Their second biggest strength is their secondary, which is an issue, but one we could theoretically overcome.

Offensively, they are banged up at RB and are playing musical chairs with their QBs.

A noon kickoff coming off back to back demoralizing Gamecock losses will mean that the crowd will be pretty sleepy next Saturday, a shadow of what it was when they played UGA.

I really think the tumblers are falling into place and we get the upset.

Dumb. Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb. Dumb.

Someone has said similar things every week, and all we can hang our hats on is a 7pt loss to UGA. And IMO that game wasn't as close as the score indicated, although we had a shot to tie I never felt it would happen, and I don't think it'll happen this week. SOS will find a way to out coach us like he has for 20 yrs.

The same UGA team SC destroyed.

Yet for some reason their UF game yesterday is some proof we're going to win.

So what if we DO win? At this point it won't mean anything other than Dooley finally won a road game vs. a ranked opponent before he got canned. It won't save his job. It won't restore anybody's fairh that he can ever be a good coach here. It would almost be a cruel joke for UT to somehow pull out a victory in Columbia next saturday...

Actually we haven't played USC yet so you would be wrong. His stat is correct. Still don't mean we shouldn't have beat those 4 teams we lost to. Were good enough to beat them.

Lol .. my bad. Don't why I counted USC. Thanks for pointing that out. Apologies to purevol, I see what you were saying now. I brain farted.

Their great back is hurt, only had 3 carries yesterday. Their mobile QB got benched yesterday.

He was playing with a bruised hip yesterday. He will be gucci come Saturday.

Their front four are very good, but our OL is no slouch anymore. We may give up a couple sacks, but they won't dominate our OL like they did UGA. UF made their DL look pretty average yesterday.

We'll see.

Their WR are not very good, and they don't throw the ball well.

Your secondary isn't very good either.

Their secondary is my biggest concern, but it is not a game breaker.

This tells me you haven't watched SC at all this year. Our secondary is hot garbage.

We'll win this game.

We will see.

I'll take any SEC win we get. I'll go into every game thinking we will win. It hasn't been working out very well as of late. =\

USC has better playmakers on the d line than Bama or UF and we will make Shaw look like a Heisman contender. No shot to win.

From one Vol grad to another...how about a bet?

I don't know what the spread will be in the game, but I will bet you that UT covers the spread. I will never post again if I am wrong, you up for the same if you are wrong?

I am not saying we will win, but I am saying we have a shot. You are saying we have no shot. Let's do this.

Id rather go down bleeding orange than pissing on myself. So, let me know soon.
