Not that it helps a great deal, but we are 3 out of the last 4 against the gators in b-ball, and played them within a point in football... so maybe we're not as far away as it currently feels... :cray:

Look at it this way.

For all the crowing that they do in football, they've still won one fewer title than in basketball (since 1996 was a sham).

For the Vol fan base in general, I have found two ways things could get worse.

1. Noah, Horford, Green, Brewer, and Donovan all return to UF.
2. OSU and Bama split the 2007 football national title.

In thius day and age of leaving early and mega-millions at so many schools, simply cannot fathom any other school ever again owning consecutively three national championships in the two main sports.

the thought in my head right now is so bad i cant post it on here or say it out loud cause its pure evil and it would make me as bad as them lol im tryin so hard to make it go away but everytime i see these florida threads lol...MAN I CANT WAIT TILL FLORIDA SUCKS AGAIN its gonna happen and soon in basketball... AND IM READY FOR US TO BE TOP DOG AGAIN

We can at least take comfort in the fact that we beat #1 (Florida) once (ok, we got stomped the other time), we almost beat #2 (OSU) once and should have beaten them the other time (major league choke job). I know that "almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades," but it was still a pretty good year for the Vols. It's hard to say that we are not a significant basketball program given that.

frankly speaking, humprey isn't that great...he's a spot up shooter...all he can do is hit open shots....and he gets those oppurtunites because of the 4 other great starters that florida has...in other words, humphrey is the 5th person on the opponent's scout list....if he were at tenn, he would not be as successful.

Think about what you just said how do most of the players on our team get such great looks because lofton draws so much attention humphrey would get the same kind of shots he does at florida especially with our ball movement theres no doubt in my mind that he would be successful at ut... and you can argue with the pump fake 3 that he drained earlier in the championship game that looked contested to me... wow i cant believe i just defended a gator i feel so dirty... oh well

Has anyone watched a game where Corey Brewer hasn't fell and whined about being hurt while crawling around on the floor?

Brewer is a diva man, big time.
