So beating 4th ranked South Carolina in 2013 doesn't count?

No dude. That one doesn't count. Get with the program. If we count that as a Top 10 win, it won't fit with peoples agendas.

Apparently, because they were ranked 11th when we beat them, it negates the fact that they were a Top 10 (#4 to be exact) team when all was said and done.


This moron isn't the only one that likes to leave that fun little fact out. Most of the click baiters do. Maybe all of them.

Well, they were #11 when we beat them, and that is the measure used for playing against top-10 teams. It doesn't really matter though. I wouldn't use that win to justify us being in the top-10 3 years later any more than the writer should use our past failures to dictate how we'll do this season.

When I saw we were ranked at 10, I thought it was kind of high myself. But, when I looked at the top 25, I didn't see another team that we should be ranked behind. In fact, they're are a couple of teams inside the top 10, I thought we should be ranked ahead of.

This guy's opinion is just that, an opinion. Hopefully our coaches use this for motivation. And, maybe our players are ready to shut some of these guys up. Go VOLS !!!!

This "writer" and others seem to enjoy pointing out that UT hasn't beaten a top 10 team since Jones arrived. Honestly who in their right mind expected UT to beat a top team in years 1 and 2? Last year was the first time we could even be competitive from a talent and experience stand point. It's jounalistic and intellectual dishonesty to use that in an argument.
