Welp. If GA wasn’t a guaranteed loss before it certainly is now…

Wouldn't hold my breath, but if he attended with Peyton and we get the turnout I expect, it might grab his attention. Still, I think this is more a case of a young man wanting to walk his own path. He won't be likely to follow family. My worst fear....UGA. Any place other than UGA.....even...bama.
You literally had me til the last word.

Some of our fans seem to think Arch is Peyton's son.

I just don’t understand some folks motivation to hate.
Peyton and family will enjoy a great game (hopefully a win). I believe!
Go Vols

I understand it. However, I won't share the information here on VN as it will activate hate-ism immediately. That said, I'll cheer along with Peyton. If we only scare three points, I'll cheer that just as loudly for that too. Perhaps through tears, sobs, and dejection. But they're my Vols so I'll cheer them all the same. We could up not even making a first down, and that won't stop me cheering them. If the score is 92-0 with 3 minutes remaining, I'll believe that we will somehow, despite the math, time, or whatever, we'll win that game. I'm with you, Peyton, all the way. haters be dayum.

I love peyton. The vols just don't win a lot of the games he attends lol. I got a buddy that never witnessed the braves win in person. Guess who my friends and I eventually stopped inviting to come to Braves games?

I recall the Volunteers have not won the challenging games that Peyton Manning has attended.

That is the reason why I'm not highly optimistic the Volunteers win because he is going to be inside Neyland stadium to watch the Valiant Volunteers play the Number 1 Undefeated Juggernaut Georgia Bulldogs.

I'm optimistic the Volunteers win the game because they've shown the ability because of great coaching to run with the Crimson Tide in Alabama, and they'll be motivated to achieve unforgettable greatness by defeating the Number 1 undefeated Georgia Bulldogs.
They need to play the complete great game to get an excellent signature win because the moral victory of losing a close game a team isn't expected to win is extremely disappinting which no doubt is the main motivation.

Also, the bulletin board material is competing with the damn Georgia Bulldogs for 60 minutes because this is the same freakin team that hugely embarrassed the Volunteers in the 2nd half last season in Georgia.
The 2020 Georgia Bulldogs did unintentionally give huge bulletin board material for the 2021 Tennessee Volunteers.

We adults, truly believe that wearing a black jersey, or a gray jersey, or checkering the stadium, or stepping on a foul line, or not washing our socks has any impact on any game in any fashion???? It is insane. I love sports and fanhood but sometimes the superstitious of the whole thing gets stupid.

Peyton is the best ambassador in the history of college sports, he donates back, he does commercials, he helps recruit, he stays around and does anything needed to help this program and yall B*itching because we lose when he comes to town. Piss on that, thank you Mr. Manning

Agreed. The concept of “correlation vs causation” needs to be taught more widely in public schools, apparently.

Coach seems calm.and confident. What do we have to lose against the #1 team with a defense that resembles Da 85 Bears according to the analyst? If we lose, so what honestly? If we win or even play good its going to be awesome.

Just saying we are playing with house money. We already have more wins than some thought anyone could achieve.

The 85' Bears didn't go undefeated. I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'.

Best good luck charm ever!

He can wear an orange and white, checkerboard, suit with horseshoes on his tie for all I care. Love seeing him representing UT at the game. Only an idiot would not want him there.

Agree 100%. But even the 85 Bears lost one.

I don't blame Peyton. Hell, he loves this University, and he has been a far more vocal proponent of Tennessee than I think we could have ever expected of him. He has come back for high profile games for a long time now, and unfortunately, we have failed to win high profile games for a long time.

Hopefully the tides are changing.

None of this is peyton's fault.

The man even goes and attends away games for Tennessee. He wants to celebrate a massive upset win as much as any of us do. He lives to see us back to where we once were. He wouldn’t donate so much money here if he didn’t. Plus the man loves offense and he has to be excited seeing such quick read passing then deep shots….just like his Colt/Bronco record setting days.
