Well Well Well.....!!!

They are.

Why do you think players like JJ Peterson and Issac Taylor-Stuart are considering us?

CJP probably can't initiate contact with these recruits but nothing says they can't reach out to him. Not sure what his agreement with Bama was but who cares?

Saban isn't losing anyone he really needs; those guys were locked up.

11th in the SEC and behind Vandy and Kentucky. Good times

Been on the job for about 12 days now....had to purge most of Jones’ commitments because they either can’t play in the SEC and/or can’t play the style of football he wants to play. He’s already gotten us in the door with players that Jones wouldn’t even dare offer. Jones wasn’t getting Carvin or Wood-Anderson, and he didn’t even offer Banks. There are other top-rated players that now have Tennessee listed in their top 2-3....guys that Jones either wouldn’t or couldn’t talk to.

When this is all said and done in February, guarantee you we’re top 15 or better and we’ll have legit SEC athletes who fit what JP wants to do. And we’ll finish well ahead of both Vandy and Kentucky.

Just a little perspective and patience here would be nice Fade. We just got rid of a fraud head coach who ran the program firmly into the ditch. Just being rid of him should be reason enough for optimism. I’m gonna do the same with Pruitt that I did with Sgt Carter.....support him and give him a very big benefit of the doubt until he shows me I can do neither.

Well, well, well said by Jesse Simonton......

A few of Tennessee’s rivals had outstanding days, but what Jeremy Pruitt did in less than 2 weeks deserves real kudos. Kept 4-stars Taylor, Carvin and Banks in-state, flipped a high-upside QB and beat out Alabama for No. 1 JUCO TE.

CJP has a hill to climb. Georgia is hauling in a second straight top 3 class. With mays they have 2 5* and. 2 4* ol coming in. This mess obviously is not his fault but there is ground to be made up. He is doing his best thankfully.

I'm sure Pittman will help them progress, but there are busts consistetly in this conference. Dontavius Blair never done the first thing for us and he was the number one Juco player in the nation and so far Drew Richmond has done very little. I know some of it has to do with being coached up,but raw athleticism should get you to a certain point. I've also heard that mayes doesn't quite live up to his billing.

Currently, if you look at Avg. Rating, we're 7th. That's the true talent profile of the class, not Total Points.

That's the middle mosh pit behind Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, and Florida. Similar talent as LSU and Texas A&M. That's with having a HC on the job for less than 2 weeks and not being a state that produces abundant elite talent.

All in all, a hell of a job considering the circumstances. Should have any rational fan excited about what we could end up with once the Dead Period is over and the coaches hit the road again.

But, but he's a Bammer plant sent her to take us down from the inside!!!!

I love Woodford, Having some Eagle Rare at the moment tho.

Elijah Craig 18
Blanton's
Bullitt Rye
Maker's
Gentleman Jack (surprisingly delicioso)
Chattanooga Whiskey 1816 Reserve

McCallan 12, 15, or 18
Various other single malts that I have in the cabinet that I can't remember at the moment.
Chivas if I'm going cheap

I like Woodford Reserve A LOT. Also Irish whiskey, currently Jamesons

Jameson yes. Here's mud in your eye!

Way too soon to chime in on that one, fade. You're smarter than that.

Coach Pruitt has been a winner at every stop. He's been here two weeks. Let's at least give him a year to see what he does on the field, and with a full year to recruit.

Instant gratification = instant coffee. Looks the same, but one taste and you know you've been ripped off.

Go Vols.

In 2013 Jones had 4 O-linemen that would be on NFL rosters in less than a year, and they looked horrible. Don’t use high ranking O-linemen failing under Jones as an indicator that top ranked players are anything less than critical to winning big

Alternate facts to make you feel better.

Tennessee is 44th on ESPN and number 13th out of 14 SEC schools. Only Arkansas is lower.

And 31st on 247 and 11th out of 14 SEC schools. Vandy, Ole Miss, and Missouri are lower, despite each having more players committed. I know you’re longing for Lyle, but he’s gone after having driven the program in the ditch/to its worst season in school history.

Why don’t you just step away from the recruiting forum for a couple of months and leave the discussion about our class to the men. JP had to clean up and reconstitute the class that Sgt Carter had haphazardly put together. You clearly don’t have the judgment or the ***** to handle what’s happening right now under JP. Just step away.....Merry Christmas.

Very well said. Perspective.

Les Miles and Brian Kelly were both available all srason

Nobody has wanted Les Miles and Kelly wasn’t coming to coach anybody in the Southeast....he’s a west coast guy. So while you’re technically right, neither was a viable option for us.
