My sources have confirmed that Nega Vols and Nega Media are struggling to come up with anything that sounds "not stupid".........but I always remember what my Papaw pointed out, "you can't start that car without the positive and negative", so I guess we just have to ignore and feel sorry for those others that only wear Orange and White when things are going well.

Go Vols

We are #32! We are # 32:clapping:

So lame. Hide and watch chief....it’ll go up steadily, top 15 or better when it’s all said and done in February. And it’ll be a class with legit SEC players, and they’ll be coached by a staff who knows what championship teams and players look like and how to get them coached up to compete with the big boys.

Condolences on the loss of Butch Jones....the feelings will subside over time after you’ve gone through the stages of grief. God bless.

I'm thankful for the recruits who committed today, and am hopeful more to follow, but I'm not gloating at being #39 on Rivals.

Again, not criticizing the ones we got, just hoping the class grows beyond the current 14 which I'm sure it will.

Not bad at all - but you need better "good stuff" :eek:k:

CJP has a hill to climb. Georgia is hauling in a second straight top 3 class. With mays they have 2 5* and. 2 4* ol coming in. This mess obviously is not his fault but there is ground to be made up. He is doing his best thankfully.

From what I've heard, the best cigar rollers come out of the Dominican Republic. (They moved there because of the embargo with Cuba.) Dunno if it's still that way now or not though.

Does anyone else not like Woodford Reserve or am I the only one?

It is from Kentucky. :eek:lol:

However, I'm a scotch guy. Lagavulin if I'm feeling wealthy, Walker black label. That cigar though :salute:

With that being said, I mostly drink beer

Heck, I'll take it! Rivals had us buried in the 60's not too long ago. Besides, this is only early signing. I hope we can land a couple of big fish on NSD.:good!:

Yeah UT will never sign another top notch class again.
Butch had 2 top 5s in a row and look where it got us. Sadly, several of our rivals have managed to hire the coaches they needed. CJP maybe aight but nobody is going to close the talent gap that's now widening in the east.

Dominicans have a better QA for sure, which can mean a more consistent build and draw and Connecticut has best wrap leaf IMHO - but while they have transplanted some of the crops from Cuba, they still have the best filler leaf.

I think we can officially call ourselves Ole Miss of the East. The past 10 years were a prelude to the next 40. This program is done when it comes to playing for championships. All that's left is working on those tailgating skills and trying to up the overall attractiveness of the average coed Vol.

By the way, how did all of those top recruiting classes we had in recent years turn out for us? Multiple top classes = 8 and 4 at best and 4 and 8 this year.

Hard to get excited over star ratings. I'm looking forward to seeing some actual production on the college field rather than hearing radio and tv commentators droning on about how great our players were (or weren't) in high school.

TN stacks up pretty good with the teams that had late coaching changes.. Nebraska #59, UCLA #46, TAM #28, Florida #22, MS State #17 & TN #39. I believe Pruitt had less time than any of the coaches to salvage a class. One of the most interesting things that I've noticed in the early signing period is Southern Cal @ #44. What's happening there, Tee distracted, Vols hiring Helton?

What Butch did does not matter now, what matters is developing the players we have (which CBJ failed to do) and closing strong for the 2018 class. CJP may or may not close the talent gap but that remains to be seen. Why give up before CJP has even coached one game?
