We'll Never Get an Easier Chance...

No question our defense will be better. Our linebackers will have Donald join the ranks, while our secondary will be improved by default. Receivers will also be better, as well as backs and kicker. The question marks are going to be...

1. Can we run when we need to? The last two years, we havent.

2. Qb. The biggest question. Everyone that has been roasting Ainge (myself included) will be pining for him soon enough.

3. Can our d-line ever generate pressure by themselves? I should hope so with Bolden being a senior, but we'll see.

4. Can we be better then uga and uf? Both teams will open in the top 10. Heck, I could see Uf and Uga both being top 5. Just like we are going to improve, so are they.

As far as running goes, outside of the 2006 Florida game and yesterday, it hasn't been a matter of us not being able to run the ball, but Cutcliffe abandoning the run.

You mentioned the addition of Donald, I would also add Ben Martin as another potential difference maker.

As far as QB play goes, if Cutcliffe continues to call games the way he has, then I would say you are correct. But I am hoping that the staff audits itself this offseason and makes some fundamental philosophical changes on offense and defense.

Disappointed. I'm so disappointed.

Our defense played their rears off today. They bent...but they didn't break.

We had LSU exactly where we wanted them.....until...well, you know the story. I'm not sure what happened to Ainge...

but we had that LSU offense in disarray....and all we had to do was play ball control....I don't think they could have scored on us. Oh well.....it was a fun year.

I'm just so disappointed.

the bend but not break defense was very popular for us in the 16 year draught of no SEC Championships... I hate to go back to that.....
