Anyone else feeling it...just different faces at the podium?

I’m willing to give everyone a shot, and I think this hire is better than Pruitt, but I’m still questioning why we didn’t talk to a few other coaches some of which would have come here rather than pay a search firm and then an AD and a coach from the exact same place with a ton of buyout money.

They may be having a party in Orlando with all the cash they can use to now hire a better coach than us...then again we are in a mess and are lucky to have anyone with a decent resume I guess

Do you really know if any of those coaches would have actually come here? I keep hearing should've gone after Malzahn or another big name....well hate to say with possible looming sanctions no big coach wants to touch it. Besides I'm excited to have someone that's actually coached top QBs over the last several years and his offensive stats speak for themselves considering how crappy ours have been over the years. Find him a good DC and I think we might have something

Kiffin is spouting off at the mouth and wouldn't come here because of possible sanctions as well. While I applaud Chadwell for a great season he's even less qualified than Heupel with no SEC or big 5 experience.

Its just dead guys. I keep thinking one day we will get struck by lightning and revived like Frankenstein but it never happens. We are fans of a program that doesn't prioritize winning anymore. It took me 10 years to feel comfortable saying that, so I dont say it lightly. I'll never be able nor do I want to end my fandom, but damn this hire is depressing. We straight up hired a coach who regressed every year at his previous job.
