but I struggle to see why TN would be an attractive job for Leach.

Gotta be $$$. He has never had a really big job before though. Who knows what he can do with resources like Tennessee has

He really is the perfect fit...In fact its scary how much we are meant for each other....I hope it happens, Getting tired of getting turned down and he would strike fear into the hearts of all the teams in the SEC.

i'm not a huge leach fan.

but...i'll say this...he'll get paid for one.

and for two, given our current situation, and his knack for the, um, eccentric so to speak, this could be match made in heaven.

he couldn't care less what people think of him, and that would bode well for somoene about to take this job....:eek:lol:

It makes little sense to me. Why leave a low stress job to come get your butt kicked my Kirby Smart Dan Mullen and Nick Saban?

Leach has said on more than one occasion that the only jobs that interest him are at programs that need rebuilding. It’s a challenge for the guy. And he wins with 2 and 3 star talent at places like Lubbock, Texas and Pullman, Washington.

He’d need a hell of a DC, but the guy wins. And plays exiting football. And the pressers would be a riot. If nothing else, he’d make it fun while we worked on fixing other areas that need to be addressed.

Because these guys don't think like that. They want to be the best and prove they are better than the next guy. They thrive on the competition, well, at least the good ones.

Two sources now are coming forward to say he was offered and previously reported that if he was offered he would likely take it...
