Well, I guess we have to have an Awpheeshul Barner Game Thread, so here it is

He's developing jg for next year. It's really the only explanation for continuing.
One thing I learned to do this summer in the garden: when a tomato plant was not doing well, and I’d coddled it a bit for 2-3 weeks in hopes that it would recover, but it didn’t, I yanked it and tossed it on the compost heat.

Even in hospitals, after CPR had gone on for a while with no improvement, the code is called.

Serious issues on the D side of the ball, though. Serious.
Corners just can't stop an inside cut. Anyone can hit slants all day. And because of that, LB(s) are biting that way and the pass is going to the other side.
If the inside slot receiver starts to run a slant and that LB commits to it, someone on the other side will be wide open.
The bust that let Schwartz get that wide open just cannot happen.
None of that is on the QB, but clearly HB has more awareness and savvy than JG.
But once there in the first half, one of their DTs stunted and came all the way around the corner of the right side and into the offensive backfield. That shouldn't happen.
It's hard to believe Gray had that kind of production in a loss. He is a warrior.

This is the one time it survives

HB is a baller, JG is a poser.
