Partly. I think him trying to force deep balls instead of making open passes to keep drives alive definately hurt us big. But lack of depth really showed on the D in the second half. Chaney has to work with Simms to correct the first. Nothing we can do about depth but keep recruiting.

Did you watch the game? We got beat solely because we don't have enough bodies. That's it. No busted plays, 2 turnovers came on bad throws. We simply are not talented enough right now. Next year I think we should have some expectations. 2013 should be on the coaches though. But the only argument anyone has with if we have the right coach is in recruiting. Our recruiting isn't Saban/Meyer/Miles like. Which is great, but it's solid. The only problem with solid in the SEC is it simply isn't good enough to beat great. We need to pull out the cash and pay a top notch recruiter or pay the recruits.

Im still too confused and frustrated to know who to blame for this loss...Fulmer, Simms, Kiffin, Hamilton, Chaney, Dooley....theres enough to go around i guess. Really though, i think we are about where most of us thought we would be, other than the uga loss...but we just have too much youth, no depth and our best offensive and defensive players not playing...i think the offensive and defensive play calling has been pretty good, the coaches Im sure didnt draw up a play that Simms is supposed to throw to a member of the other team...but if we can continue to improve the running game, i think we will be ok and finish up 7-5, and next year should be a big step forward. Step back from the ledge and realize the gap between the #1 team, or even a top ten team, and what we have on the filed right now is huge.
