If they win throughout the playoffs I have no problem with that.It has finally come to this. I've been bashed for years, because I like the current CFB bowl system. Now, everyone that wanted a playoff, hang in there, you're gonna get it, much sooner than later.
Get ready to see a 7-5 conference champion show up in a playoff for the NC.
I'm not complaining about it. I hope we play all those games , I just don't think we will now. I mean , I just heard them talking on the radio about the UNC buyout. They said neither Fulmer , Kiffin or Dooley wanted to play that game for several reasons. I hate that we backed out of that one and that we might back out of more of them because of the change.
Funny how we talk about how our rivalries will be preserved in all of this. Texas A&M just took all of their's and threw em out the window. And no one in that Conference fought very hard to preserve them either. Sounds like a good get to me.
To the SEC Texas A&M. Official July, 2012.
And the downfall of the best conference will began!!! WE DONT NEED MEDIOCRE BIG 12 TEAMS!!!!
With all due respect, how can you argue the quality of an opponent as the reason they shouldn't be allowed to join when the SEC has Vandy and KY? I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that TAMU has traditionally fielded a better FB team than either.
I live in Alabama, and I can tell you that the Vols are an afterthought to Bama. Their biggest game is against Auburn and 2nd biggest is against LSU. Bama had rather trade the TN game for the Texas A&M game so they can get better access to Texas recruits.
Well alot of people, and rightfully so, are against expansion. Me personally, I think its fine now, but I am not against expansion. And since it is happening think aTm is a great addition. They have history with AR and LSU. Like it or not, expansion is happening. Just got to hope teams they bring in will be good additions. I don't always like Slive from a UT fan perspective, but he is a very good commissioner.
