CLK was on the sports animal a couple weeks back and he was asked if there would be a welcome back BBQ and he said, "Yes, around the first week of August." When asked about the specifics, I remembered he made a joke, "Not sure exactly, I don't know what I’m doing tomorrow, let alone two weeks from now...."

So my question is, does anyone have any info on this year Welcome Back BBQ?

thanks!

purchased my tickets just now. I'm not a UT grad (ETSU) but my wife is, so we're good if you have to be alumni.

can't wait!

Pretty sure its for everyone, and not just alumni. I've never been, is it a good time?

I went in 05' (let's hope it wasn't I that jinxed that awful team...) and it was cool. Food was great, Buffet style BBQ by either Calhoun’s or buddies. A player sat at your table and ate with you. The coaches spoke and the players/coaches signed whatever you wanted them to sign. IMO, it's the O/W game fan day on steroids....
