Your resume is impressive. Couple NC’s, tons of talent recruited. Just know that this fan base has perennially high expectations and rightfully so. You will find no better support when things are going well, but when things turn a little South we are brutally honest and sometimes a bit irrational but that’s all because we bleed orange! I know you are used to wearing different shades of red but I think Orange will suit you. GBO!

PS ... please coach your current team through the playoffs. It’s the right thing to do!.

Do you really think he's going to read this?
If you, do I've got some ocean-front property in Missouri for sale.

He will not read this. But someone will probably tell him about it... (Ttey Wallace will Tweet it as inside info).

So I'm that case... Welcome Coach!

I honestly would not be surprised if he did. I think people would be surprised at how many players, coaches ect ect have probably read this site over the years.

I like the hire and will be interested to see who he brings with him. Almost had Schiano, but Vol Nation rallied and we ended up with a top recruiter and great DC as our new HC.

From what we had to choose from, it's hard to complain about his hire. Glad I was wrong on Steele. Also very interested in the staff he brings. That, obviously, will be the key. I'm also watching to see how the roster reacts. Won't be surprised to see some transfers. Frankly, there's some roster cleansing Pruitt needs to do. Clean house and start with a clean slate with everyone pulling together. Take lumps if you have to. Build things the right way and for the long term. No short cuts or quick fixes. Change the bad culture that has infected this team and program.

Geez why do some have to be so mean-spirited in here? It's just a way for people to post their thoughts on here. Just because they format it to look like a "letter to" doesn't mean they literally expect it to be read by the addressee.

You did and felt it worthy enough to use your two thumbs to type out a response, what’s that say about you?

And ocean front in Missouri c’mon if your gonna attempt to be a smart a** try a little harder good grief King Strait kinda wrote a song about it, it’s in Arizona.

Honestly, I expect there to be a culling the likes we have never seen here. Butch turned us into a "country club" program with his juice bars, sleep monitoring, weak S&C program, soft on the field play, life champions, leadership reps, etc! These players have no clue what's about to happen to them! I suspect several will not embrace the change.

And Santa (if you happen to be reading, too) it's gonna take 3600 dollars to get my engine re-built.

Unless Santa is a member of VN doubt he’ll read this, thread is titled welcome aboard coach Pruitt not “Dear Santa I need me 3600 greenbacks so I can rebuild my Trans Am and let my Mullet flow”, start that thread and he might read it😌

Well to answer your question. We have some bad fans that thinks it makes them important to write asinine things. Just laugh or ignore them.

Don't be hating on the juice bar...you know that's what got us those top 15 classes ;-)

Let him coach thru the early signing period, great idea

I get the idea that he should be here now recruiting, but I would wonder about the character of a guy who bails out on his team when they need him? These recruits we want him going after might very well respect his commitment to finishing what he starts, I for one would. Worked alright for Kirby.....
