Just Read Weinke is replacing Robert G. smh I disagree with this hire. Why not bring him in as a QB Coach if u wanted to hire him.

Because our OC is a better QB coach than him at the moment. Montario Hardesty was a great RB for us and he’s going to be working with WR’s. Coaches with ambition branch out to other positions to flesh out their resume’s. I was concerned that Weinke might be brought in to coach WR’s. THAT would have affected your nephew. We’ve seen how mediocre to bad WR coaches affect performances. At RB many coaches get their first shot because talent is the most important component. I was hoping Gillespie would stay, also but this has to be the HC’s call...only way it works.

I haven’t been trying to convince anyone of anything. I stated my opinion on the matter. It apparently hurt Jake’s feelings so he responded. I answered. He refuses to let it go.

Really if you look at our conversation. I haven’t been hostile towards him or told him that I was right and he was wrong.

On the contrary he said I was uninformed/wrong and insinuated that he was right and basically that I’m dumb for not thinking the way he does.

Hop to it. Gray uniforms blow and it was a great idea to 86 em and get back to using our actual school colors. And Gillespie is infinitely replaceable as a very good rb coach who couldn’t recruit nearly to the level needed for this program to thrive. Go Bulldogs brother.

U drama queens losing your mind over the easiest position coach on the entire roster is quite hilarious. Sheesh ... oh and we only replaced him w a former Img coach of the year heisman trophy winning Nearly decade in the NFL as a player.

Exactly.
CJP should put Weinke into every staff meeting.
His background at Bama, FSU, AND the IGA Academy (they have great produce, by the way), is HUGE.
I’m very excited about getting Weinke.
