Having to post this one a little early. Start my new job in the morning. If I continue to stay on VN, I'll try to keep this series going, but no promises. The amount of negativity around here sucks. Go Vols... beat the Gators!

- After Weatherd says he is going to call TAMU and tell them there is no need to recruit him, he sets up an official with his mom to the game vs Bama.... meltdown ensues. Later says he is no longer going.
- Weatherd says he has been reading his threads.. and people continue to bash him
- '14 NC CB Emmanuel Moseley commits to UT. Ran a 4.35 40. Ran several 4.4 40s at camp. Star police take over his thread as usual and question us accepting without watching tape. Going to EE. Will OV to the UGA
- Ryan Bartow thinks that Moseley will get his 3rd star. Bartow was at Carolina camp and says Moseley was by far the best DB there. Coaches said if Moseley weighed more, they would have offered him on the spot. Same with Clemson. Bartow thinks if Clemson wasnt taking just a few DBs in their class, they would have offered.
- Hurd undergoes surgery. Everything seems succesful. Should be close to 100% around Jan-Feb
- Chris Pool's article on Joe Henderson Catching up with Vol commit Joe Henderson - VolNation
- Bryant says he has a great relationship with Thigpen. They talk every 2 or 3 days. Wants to play early. Auburn and Miami continue to recruit him hard and he has thought about visiting them, but likely wont and is happy to be a Vol. One reason he might not visit them is his strong relationship with Thigpen.
- Weatherd journals his OV: http://www.volnation.com/forum/tenn...juco-lb-chris-weatherd-ut-90.html#post9137563

LB Recruiting:
- Petera Wilson rules out Memphis. An article comes out saying that his parents refused to let him go to Memphis. Someone claiming to be Wilson's mom says the journalist lied in the article. Article also says his parents and coaches want him to go ahead and commit somewhere incase a freak injury occurs. They gave him a 10 day window.
- Clifton Garrett will be at the UT/UF game this weekend.
Dline Recruiting:
- Vols offer NC DE Harold Landry, who is a Boston College commit.

- On JUCO DT Jarran Reed "Another 2013 signee who didn't make it to his destination is junior college defensive tackle Jarran Reed. Reed was scheduled to get out of junior college in one year and head to Florida but wasn't able to and is back at East Mississippi Community College where the Vols are involved with him." - VQ
