  • Weatherd says his visit with mom sealed the deal. Will call TAMU and tell them theres no reason to continue to recruit him.

RB Recruiting:
  • Derrell Scott releases top 4 in order. SCAR, NCState, OSU and UT

OLine Recruiting:
  • Vols offer JUCO Alex Shine. Redshirted at Alabama. Wants to return to SEC

WR Recruiting:
  • Josh Malone says he will take his officials to UGA, UT, FSU and Clemson. Might not take a 5th.
  • On Malone's top schools "I think it's Georgia and Tennessee, and FSU very close if not right there with those two. Clemson is making some waves as well." - Fortenberry
  • Johnnie Dixon deciding between UT and ND for 5th OV
  • Ryeshene Bronson commits to USF

Dline Recruiting:
  • Vols offer TX DE Trey Carter
  • Cory Thomas possible visit to WKU game
  • Charles Mosley possible visit to WKU game. Does not make it in
  • UT still in Keyon Brown's top 5. Announcing Sept 28th. Likely UGA

LB Recruiting:
  • Nyles Morgan no longer has a top 6

2015 Recruiting:
  • Vols offer SC DE Rasool Clemons
  • Vols offer NC ATH Carl Tucker. Visits for WKU game, says he has no favorites but everything is even between UT, Clemson and UNC
  • DT Trenton Thompson really like UT, but UGA is sticking out to him the most. Strip said we would use him in the 3 technique
  • Vols offer MD ATH Kai Locksley. He is the son of Maryland OC Mike Locksley
  • TE/DE Hale Hentges says he was really impressed. Says we will play him at TE and likes how UT will use TEs in the receiving game. Likes blocking too.
  • TN ATH Jocquez Bruce said UT has been showing interest and is recruiting him as an ATH. Hes hoping to receive an offer. RB is his favorite position. Says he loves UT
  • Vols offer NC WR Juval Mollette
  • TN WR CJ Sanders supposed to visit for WKU game
  • TN CB Aaquil Annoor supposed to visit for WKU game
  • TN ATH Johnathon Johnson supposed to visit for WKU game
  • VA DE Rickey DeBerry says he would like to visit UT and UF for a game
  • Vols offer GA WR Shadell Bell
  • AL DB Jarek Taylor supposed to visit WKU game
  • NC CB Mark Fields top 5 - LSU, South Carolina, Clemson, Florida and Tennessee
  • UT sends GA DE Russell Ude 100 letters, although we have yet to offer

Current Team:
  • Devrin Young injured his wrist.
  • AJ Johnson and Maggitt have been taking a few reps on offense
  • Coach Jones said we will see 2 and 3 TE formations and a FB. Also the Wildcat

Other Notes:
  • UT beats WKU 52-20. UT forces 5 turnovers in 6 plays
  • We lost the mascot challenge against WKU because some of you are bad at supporting your team. Help us beat Oregon this week Capital One Mascot Challenge 2013
    Several articles coming out saying James Franklin might have told his players do delete the video of the rape.

Hurd gets hurt & now Wharton - tough breaks (no pun intended) for those kids. I hope the staff continues to camp out on Malone's door step (we will always need guys who can hold on to the ball). Also, do you have any more info on OG Alex Shine?

BTW, per my Avatar and the announcement over the weekend, wrestling is back in the Olympics. Can someone direct me to the VolNation Wrestling Site?

I like Smokey as much as anyone else but my support goes to the football team Mr. arrogant.

I voted at least 100 times for smokey. Tell you the truth though I be glad to lose that mascot challenge for a win in the game!

I really like trevon paulk I think he might end up being the surprise of the class. Watched some video on him and watched one of his games. Has good vision and awesome break away speed. GO VOLS
