so you didnt see the play early in the game (2nd Q) where he had the ball and fell on his shoulder? he was real slow to get up and was pulled from the game for a while. it was clear when he hurt his shoulder

never saw any confirmation, but so far it looks like theres pics of Gaulden, Payne, Wharton and Kelly at the game

So even though he is not injured and would theoretically be 2nd team OL (almost won a starting job against Bullard), Jackson is just agreeing to redshirt so he has an extra year? No other extenuating circumstances? That is unusual. Obviously it is good for us in the future if he does that. But it seems strange.

2 years starting instead of 1. better chance to go pro IMO

I thought the same thing. CBJ said in his presser, "his situation", (meaning Jackson) but didn't elaborate what that meant.
