MD LB Jerome Dews commits to Tennessee
’13 commit Jabo Lee tweeted that he has been cleared, but most people in the know still seem to think he will NOT make it to Knoxville by fall. He is still expected to go the JuCo route unless we hear otherwise from the coaches.

Visits:
4* LB Nyles Morgan Visits Tennessee. No update from him yet, although the visit apparently went well. Vandy and Ole Miss are his favorites.

3* FL OL Ray Raulerson says he will announce his decision in a few weeks. Vols are high on his list.
4* FL DB Nigel Bethel III says he will announce his decision on July 8th between FSU, Miami, Kentucky, Tennessee, WV, and Texas Tech. Tenn a longshot.
3* JUCO DT Fadol Brown will announce his decision on July 5th between Tennessee, Alabama, Miami, Ole Miss, & LSU. Ole Miss or Miami are the heavy favorites.

When is Bates going to announce? Wednesday???

Bates will announce his commitment to Tennessee on the Wednesday. It is unclear if we will take a QB or another RB in this class, my guess is no on a QB. OL and DL commits are coming. OL Ray Raulerson could commit. JUCO OL Dontavius Blair really likes Tennessee. From all indications we lead for DT Poona Ford and DE Dewayne Hendrix. DT Derek Barnett has strong interest in TN, many consider us the favorite. DT Charles Mosley likes Tennessee a lot and we are neck and neck with Alabama. So they're coming, don't worry.

Even though some are assuming Dillon Bates is a lock for Tn., I don't want to take anything for granted. I remember what happened with Vonn Bell. I find it interesting that now, Vonn isn't listed on the roster or as a redshirt. Anyone know what has happened to him?

Probably isn't on campus yet at OSU, so isn't listed in the roster... Ferguson and Jenkins are not listed on our roster yet either, because they are not on campus.
