Here is a sort of condensed review of all the notable recruiting events that have transpired over the last week. I know for some yall out there it isn't easy to keep up with the fluidity of the recruiting game, so this is an attempt at making that easier for yall. And if yall would like to add stories that may have been missed or would like to include events that occur this week, feel free to do so. I will condense it all and try it again next week.

Big news or changes:
3* FL WR Brandon Powell commits to Tennessee, June 16th
3* AL LB Gavin Bryant commits to Tennessee, June 17th - Gavin Bryant also moved up in the recent 247 rankings this week to a 4* and is ranked #241
Former Maryland RB Justin Pickett walks-on at Tennesseee
3* FL WR Lawrence Lee decommits from Tennessee

Thanks for the info. I usually just check the tweets and HOT News threads. This was a great summary. Keep up the stellar work.

Here you said DJ Smith eliminated TN but someone just posted in the tweets thread a 247 prediction that was 62% TN. Obviously the predictions can be way off base as I believe we've landed a couple that were predicted to go to other places. Just wondering were the contradiction is.

The crystal ball just hasn't been updated. With thousands of recruits, not all of those guys have time to be like "oh I picked DJ to Tennessee and he eliminated them". A lot of those guys get on 247 once a month anyways (very few who vote work for 247). People just freak out and like to make fun of something because they can, although it doesn't run as efficiently as it could. We have been eliminated or put on the back burner with him at least.

Are you ready to do another series on the passing game like you did with zone read?

This guy does an excellent breakdown of it, you'll have a better understanding of what you are seeing from watching these tutorials. Chris Brown at smartfootball.com recently advised his large following to check them out. Good stuff
