kudos to Florida. where they give new meaning to reloading. completely outclassed talent and coachingwise on Saturday afternoon, we were. I think enough has probabyl already been said about this game, none of it good. the only thing i'll add is i'm officially done with current regime. i've been on the fence for a long time. i got shoved off of it last night. the gap is widening between us and the top of the SEC.

on to the rest of the weekend:
the big 10 is still bad, despite OSU's win in Seattle. Minnesota lost to, uh, who was that again? exactly.

Tuberville in danger of getting "croomed"? big win for the bulldawgs on the plains. i for one was happy to see it. Good for Sly. class act with a bad hand dealt to him. big win.

Randy Sanders. got to be feeling pretty good about Woodson right about now. congrats to Cats fans. biggest win....ever, that didn't involve a net and hoop?

USC, the real one. good win. but i'm still not convinced Neb is all that great. but a win in Lincoln will look very good come December.

Texas. oh, boy, you are lucky. Texas is officially, now that L'ville got beat, the MOST overrated top 10 team. OK will bury TX, and TX will still win 10 games and go to a BCS game. longhorns, be glad you're in the big 12.

Pac 10. missed a big opp. this weekend to have anothe marquee win against OSU. having said that, i still think the pac 10 is coming along quite nicely. there i said it.

and lastly...poor old ACC. good win for BC....anybody stay up and see the end of the FSU/CO game? me neither. and i still don't know who won. the butch davis era got it's first official road block on Saturday. but the way they ended the game, for UNC fans, has to be somewhat encouraging.

that's it. tough day yesterday and i'm having a hard time today really caring about anything. 3 weeks to UGA. pucker factor prediction: HIGH.

have a good day folks.:peace2:

You forgot to mention the Crimson Tide's victory over the Arky hawgs.
no, i didn't. beating a team led by Casey Dick in a comeback win at home, just didn't "impress" me as much as it did a lot of the pundits out there.

congrats on the win, sure. but most intellignet people feel like ARk was going to take a step back this year.

Don't be sleeping on Florida Atlantic. Schnellenberger has crafted a decent little team. That said, the Big 10 is putrid. I actually think Michigan might still win that league.

The last time Michigan lost to Oregon and beat Notre Dame by 38-0.

Big 10 Champs!!!

I don't see that happening, but I would enjoy that. I still think there is absolutely no way Carr could return with a loss to Ohio State, even if they win the other games and the Big 10.

maybe. they definitely got a lift yesterday. don't sleep on PSU though. they have been the most consistent in that league.

Boston College's win would have been far more impressive if it were over someone other than Virginia Tech-Atlanta. The Urinejackets are as consistent a choke team as there is outside of Blacksburg.

I know he loves South Florida, and he's older than dirt, but what about Schnellenberger at UT?

no one's played better than them though. and for any clemson fans out there, i just can't see tommy winning the league...he'll screw it up somehow. for now, BC is it.

Florida Atlantic will be Howard's last job. The debacle at Oklahoma showed him that he doesn't have the fire necessary to excel in a BCS conference.

No mention of Utah taking #11 UCLA to the woodshed? I think that may have set the Pac 10 back 10 years

Northwestern got beat by Duke
good point.......thanks....completely forgot about that.
Panthers-Texans, just shift your focus to Bank of America Stadium
whoopie. that turned out great. on a positive note, the steelers were efficient today in handling the bills. and the bengals lost.....to the browns.:eek:lol:

i wouldn't go that far. Utah isn't what they were under UM, but they aren't awful, and UCLA may have been a little overrated to begin with.

I'm sure you are right. Still, someone with a South Florida connection would seem to be one of the many things the doctor would order for UT to get back on track.
