Interesting find, sorry about it being flipped sideways...

Cannot tell you how many times we seemed to have the RB bottled up for a 3-4 yard loss only have him bounce off (warrior) and turn it into a 2 yard gain. Ok that was that one specific time but that problem seems to extend back several years.

I just dont see players wrapping up or even hitting with force IMO.. Warrior bounced off of a guy which really surprised me because I thought he was supposed to "lay the wood" to people. Did anyone on our team really land a solid hit Saturday?

I was surprised at UF's numbers, thought they played better than that.

That's a worrisome stat.
Hopefully the staff is aware of the rate of whiffs and will work like heck to correct it.

Theo Jackson laid the wood. Only one I remember.

That's about the only upside to that list. Florida was almost as bad as us, but probably also played their 3rd-4th strings for most of the second half.

Pay more attention to the numbers for teams who actually played a team better than a cupcake.
GA missed 12% of their tackles vs Austin Peay?
By far Auburns numbers are the best, they played the best team out of anyone in the SEC last week. LSU looked pretty good to.

Not to hate on him, bc I didn’t go back and find each of them for context, but abernathy missed 4 tackles. That was good for over 1/3 of our missed tackles for the game. Eliminate those and we are probably closer to 10% than 20. Also you are going to miss a lot more when you are being forced to tackle in space. I am more concerned about our inability to get their running back on the ground than I am about missing tackles based on what I saw.

Doug Mathews called out 3 defensive players on Big Orange Sunday. I liked the way he did it, by number instead of name. He said these guys would soon be benched. I think it was Abernathy, Buchanan and one more.. Can't remember. Not much production out of Kongbo either. Someone correct me if I missed this , 22,28 and 3. I was driving, could have gotten that wrong.

Not great, but also completely meaningless as a comparison since almost every team (except Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss) played a cupcake game.

The good news is that Florida's missed tackle rate was almost as bad as ours and they played Charleston Southern rather than one of the most prolific offenses in college football.

I actually saw all 20 percent of those Tennessee missed tackles. We had their QB more than once and let him get away same for their RB. As all the charts are showing the defensive play was not very good. The offensive play calling not what we needed.

Abernathy 4 missed tackles, Warrior 2 several players with one.
