I had a similar situation yesterday. You're right about the patronizing part for sure.

You forgot to mention Saturday night ....Endless questions; why did we throw on 3 and 1, Who the hell was Bray throwing too, Really we got another situation with not enough man on the field????? And the ol "calm down its just a game from your wife". Rinse and repeat the next Saturday.

100% accurate.. I come here every week and it is always the same... fantastic observation.

It's sort of amazing the optimisim by some starting Wednesday or Thursday.. not sure if ya'll really think you can win, or you're just posting to get everyone fired up. But.. it's sort of inspirational. The Florida forums I frequent aren't like this one. That is for sure.
