With the season only 16 days away I'm really getting ready for football season, especially the Spetember 22 Florida matchup.

What are everyone's prediction for when this will be played. It seems like it has always been locked for 3:30 CBS but this might be the first year we dont see this in a long time. According to a SDS article they believe this time slot would be A&M vs Alabama.

A Saturday night game for would have the potiental to turn Knoxville in to anelectric factory and might be a nice change from the normal 3:30 time.

It will more than likely be 7 or 730, I don't see Tennessee vs. Florida getting bumped to the noon time slot especially if Tennessee beats WVU

CBS can screw it with that Alabama/AM game -- its going to be another Alabama blowout and tune out

I would say its more then safe money it's a night game. No friggin way the SEC lets Florida Tennessee be a 4th-5th option for conference games and slide them into the noon slot. ESPN and ESPN2 7/730 have selection over noon secn

I would love for it to be a night game, early in the year it would feel great. Any yes, something about playing them at night is special. My best memories of beating Florida have been night games, I was there in 1990 and 1998. GBO!!!!

I was there in '90 and would like a repeat of that game.

Unless A&M gets absolutely trounced by Clemson in Week 2, you can assume that Bama-A&M will be the 2:30.

The only other remotely interesting game is UGA-Mizzou and both of those teams will like be 3-0. So I think it comes down to UT beating WVU, which would mean both UT and UF would go into Week 4 unbeaten. If they are, then UT-UF goes on in primetime. If not, it might be UGA-Mizzou.

Clemson will destroy Texas A&M

Tennessee vs. Florida should be a night game either on SECN or ESPN 2

some decent games that weekend. i do think aTm/Bama winds up on CBS. but you got 4 other conf games to choose from for SECN 4 pm/8pm and ESPN/ESPN2 evening games. GA/MO is intriguing with Drew Locke. Auburn/ARK is interesting. hell MSU/KY could be a good one. and on name value alone, TN/FL should garner attention, lots of story lines in that one.

if i had to bet, we'll wind up on one of the ESPN evening games.

ESPN will jump on it for a night game if CBS doesn’t take it. No way it will be a noon game.

ESPN made it a noon kickoff in 2014. It was also the first Checker Neyland game. If Tennessee were to lose to West Virginia it could easily happen again. Just saying.
