I was surprised at JG’s stat line at the end of the game. I think we can all agree it looked much better on paper than how he actually played.
He was more poised and didn’t seem to lose confidence. I’m guessing a few throws were timing issues and a few were solely on JG.I don’t
I think he played a PERFECT game when it came to decision making. The call was thrown to the right person every single time and never in harms way. Sure he missed a few throws but all QBs miss throws in a game
Expectations are a funny thing. They can make the good look bad and the bad look good. We went 7-5 in the regular season last year, started the season on the road in conference, we won AND covered the spread but, based on the general tone on VN, you’d think we lost. Expectations.I don’t

Ok, well a poor throw is a bad play so is a poor decision. Its a wash. If I make a poor decision and throw into double coverage and result is an inc pass, same result. I mean Trask made many poor decisions throwing into double coverage but his guy is so good it didn't matter. 1 time he chose to throw into double cov instead of throwing it to the wr where his defender fell down.Poor throws are different than poor decisions
He missed more than a few throws. Of his 12 incompletions, I can immediately think of only 2 that should have been caught. That means nearly ⅓ of his 31 attempts were errant passes. And many were generally way off target in situations where the WR was very much open. It wasn't like he was forced to fit it into a tight window all night.I don’t

It’s also funny to me how every drive we don’t score is now considered “points we should have had”. Even LSU’s record offense from last year didn’t score on every possession. With that said, the first half offense was abysmal. We have to improve there or we will struggle with the lower half SEC teams and lose to the upper tier handily. We did see improvement in the second half so hopefully we will build from that. All I know is 1-0 with a conference road win is way better than 0-1 with a loss at home to GA State.Yep. When we win a road game and cover the vegas Line and there is a thread entitled “put this game behind us” people need to understand that expectations are a little off around here
Do what? A bad throw isn’t automatically a bad decision. Where did you get that?Ok, well a poor throw is a bad play so is a poor decision. Its a wash.
