They averaged a little better than 2 yards a carry against basically maryville high school. That is embarrassing and unacceptable. They are playing timid and soft. They need to be reminded schollys are reviewed and evaluated year to year. Get pissed off about it and hit someone in the damn mouth!

If our O line gets their feelings hurt about a message board then they are soft. It should serve as motivation. With that said, I understand they are young and it takes time.

When your Oline coach states that the players are having trouble with confidence, it is indeed troubling to say the least

They are also too quick to drop back and it's causing them issues too. It's sad really because at this point they are getting beat mentally and physically. This is SEC football but I'll tell you if that was my son playing I'd be hurting for him because it's hard to be losing that badly.

WR'S have dropped balls and failed to get seperation. While Worley has had good reason for some issues he's also not been without fault. Oline is definately the bigger issue but hardly the only issue.

When a QB only has 2-2.5 seconds to release the ball it doesn't give the WRs much time to get separation against good DBs. That was the issue against the gators when they began pressing the receivers and taking the short thows away.

In my opinion, they should be doing the circle of life drill in every practice to build confidence. Hit somebody in the damn mouth. They are young. It only hurts for a while. Unlike us oldies, where it hurts for weeks, (or longer). lol

I think we found out at OK and Geo that running the ball will be our best friend. That keeps the DL from pinning their ears back every play. With Hurd/Lane hurt, we saw how FL and Chat capitalized on the lack of a running game. I also hope we have two or three trick plays to keep OM defense off guard.

Correct. I know we are young and not particularly talented, but coming from the coach it is concerning.

Timid and soft? Those guys went on to the NFL last year remember?
