Web streaming of games (merged)

This works...I'm in chattanooga and I took the 10 minutes to do this and it's working for me on ESPN3. A million thanks to whoever posted this.:dance2:

How do you get this to work? It says my IP is out of Texas but when ESPN3 asks me for my ISP what do I choose?

Why do we have Gerald Jones at returning punts? He's one of the slowest receivers we have. He's not going to take many to the house. He may be sure-handed but we need a real threat for returning punts.

Make sure your ESPN account is tied in to your original ISP by going to espn3 and clicking remote access... Next, reload your browser with a proxy, and click, "Watch now". Even though your account is linked with your TN ISP, because you are browsing on a proxy, it assumes you are somewhere else and allows you to watch it. ;)

Please stop posting the "JeepJeep" link. He was charging for access to that password and it's going to end up eating up his bandwidth if you put it out there for everyone.

No big deal. it's just that we have thousands online right now and I could just see a bunch of people flocking over there and wrecking his feed.

For those of you in TN with ESPN3 that want to watch the game try this method:

Log on to ESPN and then go to ESPN3 and set it up for remote access.

Download the Hide-My-IP program from here: Hide-My-IP.Com - Hide Your IP Address, Surf Anonymously, and Protect Your Identity
Don't worry about paying for it, there's a 14 day free trial.

Hide your IP address, you may have to turn this off and on a couple of times to find a faster server, I connected to one in Atlanta that had a 19 Mb/sec throughput speed.

Log back on to ESPN and go back to ESPN3 and click on the TN game and you'll find that it's not blocked.

Of course this only for testing purposes, I would never suggest that you circumvent the blackout.:)

TY works like a charm!!:dance2:

What cable provider did you enter when it asked?

You don't, make sure you have your Account linked to your original ISP, then click "watch now" and the player pops open, you don't need to enter one.

Your cable/internet provider has to be one of the participating providers to get ESPN3. Unless, they changed it recently.

BTW...Have been watching on ESPN3 and I must say that it seems improved over some of the other things I have watched on there.

Your original ISP does. If you have charter or w/e it should automatically work when you go to ESPN3, then go to "remote access" and link it to your account. After that close your browser, open your proxy program and change your IP, then go back to ESPN, sign into your account, go to ESPN3 and click watch now. Because Charter (or w/e you have) lets you watch it, it will work, since your proxy is located in Vegas, Texas, Atlanta, ect. You are not blacked out. Original ISP determines whether ESPN3 works, current IP determines blackouts. Because Your IP says you aren't in TN, even though your original ISP is, you aren't blacked out.

It's not me that is asking. I have Charter as my internet provider but the game is still blacked out here in Tennessee.
