Web streaming of games (merged)

So if I purchase the game plan...I still won't be able to get all the TN games? Is the only choice we have to pay for the games individually on PPV unless they are televised on the cable channels? I am so confused and I hate never getting to see the games!

How much does the game cost on PPV?

welcome to VN

The proxy might not work. ESPN3 is provided if your ISP pays for it. AT&T pays while some cable companies do not. I doubt any proxy are going to pay for ESPN3.

I would suggest finding a local bar or restaurant to watch the game. If you are in Chattanooga several places have the game. If not, ask local business, I have had some that buy the game after several people showed interest. Have several of your friends call a couple of bars and act interested, they might get the hint and order it.

You could probably proxy and then use your remote access ID if your ISP carries it. Not sure...

My grandson Googled "Tennessee Volunteer games live" , first link is Yahoo Sports Live College broadcasts, click on that and you get a list of games and click on game channel at Tennessee game. Might be audio only.

I will be streaming it Streaming VOLS games!!!! , but I have to charge to watch it. I had to pay $35, so I could stream it, and I won't even be home to watch it. I'll be watching my own stream... LOL

Of course, I'll be hooking my laptop to a 42" flat panel, so it's not that bad.

Is this going to be streamed in HD? I'll pay you $5 for good quality. Thanks!

Have been watching some of the KY vs UL game on ESPN3.
So far, not too bad, just a couple of spots where the vid quality gets a little fuzzy, but overall not bad for free.
Hope the same can be said for our game this evening.

I don't think they block the internet stream.

ESPN3 is internet streaming. It's going to blacked out here in Tennessee. You can't get the game in the state of Tennessee from ESPN3 due to blackout rules.

They're trying to force you to get it via PPV or go to the game since this isn't a sellout and blacked out therefore on ESPN3. :eek:hmy:

This is the one that the OP was talking about last year. The Ohio game was streamed from this same address last year. I bet it will work! I remember using this myself because of the name Rajan! :)

Alright cool deal. I downloaded whatever it asked me to, now when I click on the Tenn game it says play now and right below it, it say's download?!Is it just b/c the game isn't playing? Or do I need to do something else?

I remember the Ohio game last year didn't start streaming until shortly after it started. It was decent quality but nothing great.

Buy the extra "crap". You get like 5 channels of football every weekend. It's worth it.

Not in Tennessee.

From my DirectV eReceipt:

Program Title:
UT-Martin @ Tennessee
Program Channel:
783
Account Number:
XXXXXXX
Program Price:
34.95

As I said in a previous thread, this is the website that gave me and I believe quite a few others on this board a malware virus when I used it to watch a UT game last year.

I had to download a player and then spent the rest of the weekend trying to rid my computer of the virus.

It may be fine now but an FYI... I would at least run some heavy duty security scans afterwards to make sure your computer isn't infected.

GBO!!!

just hooked my computer to the TV and am streaming ESPN3. The quality looks like Standard Definition. Not Bad.
