Weather Delay is a Momentum Killer

I wonder how conservative Jim Chaney is going to call. He cannot keep running twice then trying to convert 3rd and 13. I sure hope he opens up the play book as the game goes on.

we're probably going to stay pretty conservative unless we can't

I hate this delay as it is killing me while sitting on the couch! I hate watching Bama as they look for real against PSU.

Man, this game needs to resume soon!

Question: What happens if it does not? How will they record this? Will they have to reschedule? Sorry for my ignorance but unclear of what will happen if postponed indefinitely.

game gets rescheduled to a bye week

He will. You could tell in the first dozen plays their secondary does not match-up.

There was no need to risk it yet. And if Poole could get the arm off his shoulder, he would have got the first down.

hopefully people come back in the stands when the game starts up, they just showed the stands and it looked completely empty :(

Proof that Mother Nature Hate UT!!!
In all seriousness, we had OU seriously frazzled and now they will def be composed whenever we play them again. Sucks.

Just heard it wasn't lightning.
It was duck feathers picked up on radar.
Start the game!

Our bye week is before Bama and I wonder when theirs is. SO, if the two do not match, what then. Sorry for the questions, never thought of this before and do not know the rules when postponing.

perhaps better wording might have been "more accomodating week"

best example i can give you is in 2008, Texas-Arky was postponed from sept 13 to the 27th

another would be Cal-Southern Miss in 04 moved to the end of the season

it's really unlikely though to see a game already started called off for the weather unless it gets horrendous (more so than it would take to cancel a baseball game)

Hope I'm wrong, but this can't be good. When things are going your way, you don't want an interruption like this. Oregon now has time to regroup, and they now know what adjustments they need to make. And besides...we needed a TD on at least one of those drives. We aren't going to field goal them to death.

i'm not sure two field goals on drives when Oregon hadn't got it's offense on the field was too much "things going our way" anyways

They hadn't "got its offense on the field" because we created a turnover.

And yes, SO FAR, things were going our way. That's not a prediction for the rest of the game.

Im watching the game from Okinawa Japan where its 9:30 in the morning and im getting even more lit because of this dull break.

and they held us to two field goals; it's not like momentum was heavily our way either
