I agree. But,at some level,most all clothing is designed,bought,and worn for other people to notice.

I have some UT t shirts that I purchased and have never been worn outside of my home.
I can assure you they don't garner any additional attention from my wife.

Ah no. But thanks for trying to tell why I do what I do. How about orange has always been my favorite color. So when I am at home watching a game in my orange jersey, who are these fans I am trying to get to notice me?

this whole conversation has been about what you wear in public. Of course, someone with your low intellectual level can't pick up that kind of stuff, so I can see where you would be confused.

I assume you know when I buy clothing that I also wear it at home somtimes and other times I also wear the clothing out in public. Easy concept for you?

What exactly is it that you do for a living Einstein? I mean your done with college and stuff right?

you own it because it's cool and breezy? why not just a jersey material shirt at half the price then?

I like wearing an authentic jersey. If there is a big SEC matchup and I go to a bar to watch it I will wear a Vols jersey to represent my team.

I also own it because as I said orange is my favorite color. I like to get into the game day atmosphere whether I am at home or out in public. Why should I buy something half the price, why not buy the one I want. It has a 7 on it, bought it when Casey was QB. I am supposed to traverse all around town searching for a half priced orange jersey with a 7 on it? Again, don't see how you can claim a person has to be concerned with being noticed because they wear a jersey.

Why cut your hair when you could just save the money? Why wash your car when you could conserve water? We all do things every day that are done because of what other people think, so why are you so hung up on the jersey thing? I don't wear them but I don't think everyone who does is an attention whore either.
