You should just stay at home:
Socialism is a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole. Your definition is lazy and shows a tremendous right wing loon indoctrination. Throwing the word patriot around like it's a Q crumb that only the most red hatted americans are even capable of much less me even questioning his patriotism.
You didn't step on any toes, just tripped over your own. Rage on little Redhat.
No. Just that it is socialized. Socialized defense or offense. Whatever you want to call it. If its paid by taxes it is socialized by its nature.
Brilliant post sir!I am mystified at why people do not understand that wealth is not a finite pie. There's growth potential. People who want some can create something, provide something, work for it. This idea that people who have done those things should be forced to surrender the fruits of THEIR labor to those who won't work is ridiculous. Charity exists. That I'm all for.
Socialism has never worked and it never will because it fails to account for human nature. If people get something they didn't earn, they will not work. If people have what they've earned taken from them, they also lose the incentive to work. Socialism enslaves, restricts, and destroys. History proves it. Only the corrupt elites in power find it to their liking.

Oxfam report: world's 26 richest billionaires own same as total wealth of the 3.8 billion poorest - CNN
26 people have as much wealth as 3.8 billion people have, collectively. Forget the debate of process, communism, tax policy, capitalism, inherited wealth, etc.
With the internet and readily available information, I think we are getting to the point where the 3.6 billion aren't going to be willing to put up with this much longer. The world is heading for an inevitable collision between the haves and the have nots.
The police are absolutely militarized. When a police department has surplus military weaponry and freaking tanks, they are militarized. Not to mention all the other issues with violating constitutional rights and frankly showing ****** judgement.
When is America going to start doing things for people to be proud of? Going halfway around the globe to pick fights or involving ourselves in the internal affairs of others isn't worthy of much pride.Also.. I can say patriot, shipmate, downshift, carpet walker, butter bar, shitcan, noload and various other things all I want. I didnt say patriot for you. I said it for anyone else who might still consider being an American a good thing. Sounds like you dont though. When the word patriotic triggers somebody....you know where they are at pretty quick.
Delta is ready when you are. I'll buy you and you're entire family a one way ticket to anywhere you like. You just have to hand me your passports and renounce US citizenship when you get there. You are about 10% right and 90% wrong.
The wealth gap was terrible at the turn of the 20th century. It got worse leading up to the Great Depression. FDR changed that with a lot of his policies which both Rs and Ds followed to some degree until about the 70s.
Since then it has again gotten continually worse.
So a lot did change and now it's reverting back.
My questions is we can all agree that one person (or 26) can't own 100% but I mean can they still own 50%?
Even if they can, should they?
A lot of points being made about "well, the poor can go find the rich and take it"
Yeah, I get there isn't an easy solution but part of it in the US anyways is about securing basic necessities to all (Healthcare) so that your actual income means something.
I know that sounds like scary socialism to a lot of you on here, but too bad.
I will cede part of it is simply the age we are living as inequality is growing throughout the world. But no one can argue the US isn't horrid as far as the developed countries go.
Dennis, is that you?You should just stay at home:

2) There is not a limited amount of wealth on the planet at all. There will always be new products, natural resources, and new services. The money printing machines in the world will compensate for the new innovations because they don't want runaway inflation
