We won so it’s not an “excuse” but REFS.

Something has to be done. I’m sick of it. absolutely sucking any entertainment out of the sport anymore. No consistency, one sided called games, no accountability, no fines, no punishments, no answers. Either they’re complete bafoons and are horrible at their job or they’re corrupt and do whatever they feel like doing. It’s a complete embarrassment with all the money that’s made by this conference we can’t get decent officiating. I understand it’s a job that’s impossible to be perfect at, but I’m literally just asking for a c+ job. It’s an f every damn week somewhere, complete clown show and has been for years. When is enough enough?

We played Saben coached teams for a decade and half and this was still somehow the most one sided called game I’ve ever seen as a fan. Make it make sense.

I really don’t know what it would have taken to get them to call holding on Arkansas. Their right tackle blatantly held right in front of the ref over and over without getting called.

Not calling holding on the oline is a sports wide issue, it just doesn’t happen anymore. And it’s stupid. I’d hate to be a dline position.

The Staley missed PI was directly in front of the ref so zero excuse there. Im still confused about the offsides / neutral zone whatever penalty it should have been when they clocked us for the center causing the defense to react. I never watched the replay but that was ultra BS.

There were TWO TIMES clear offsides was called as a penalty on us. TWICE. Lol

I’m not one to jump on the ref blaming wagon. Truth is there are missed calls every play, both ways. But man tonight there were some blown calls.

It’s easier to swallow “missed calls” if it’s happening on both sides. When it’s completely one sided is when it becomes a downright game alerting issue.

There was also a missed call against Brazzell in the end zone, the DB pulled him down when he tried to go up to get the ball.

Yes but the truth is we’re not looking for missed calls on the opponent. People have a way of being very subjective when it benefits them.

And I stand on that one. As a center you can’t stand up with the ball in your hand like a moron, regardless of the other team in the neutral zone. That is indeed a snap infraction.

Stop embarrassing yourself.

If the other team is in neutral zone, any movement by the offensive line results in a penalty on the defense. That’s how it works

Make them full time, pay them a good salary and hold them accountable. Thats the only way to fix it. With advances in cameras and AI there’s no reason that refs shouldn’t be held accountable for awful calls or no calls.

This. Why do we have a 100 million dollar Industry being officiated by insurance salesman? Also it’s absurd to have someone reffing a school they attended.

I watch a lot of other games. Trust me it’s not a blinders thing. Like right now refs are completely calling a one sided game in favor of UGA (yet Auburn is still whooping that ass lmao)
