and now suddenly Fulmer is still a good coach?! Are these people serious? Look at the stats and shut your face. It's obvious this has been a long time coming, we cannot win consistently against opponents that matter, recruiting has consistently gotten worse. All this has happened before Clawson came.

These people saying "Can we reconsider firing him" need to realize Fulmer is done and shut up. Yeah we beat a not-so-good Vanderbilt team, OOO big deal. It doesn't change anything, we still lost to Wyoming, etc. Fulmer still saw it fit to play Crompton, which to me should cause him to never be hired anywhere ever again. Where were you people a few weeks back? Did you finally come out of your room after crying a few weeks after that press conference? Just waiting for the perfect time to make your voice and opinion heard? Well guess what, your opinion is wrong, Fulmer has lost his touch and has no idea how to get it back, he won't find it next year, or the year after.

I hate to see Phil go under these circumstances but I realize, just like most people who follow Tennessee football, that a change had to be made. This is a change that is overdue.

Wow, your wisdom is beyond comprehension. You really get right to the heart of it.

Maybe Tennessee should just hire you, since you seem to know so much about...well...everything.

/ps, I agree that Fulmer and Tennessee should move on, but making asshat statements just looks stupid. If people still like/want Fulmer, they're perfectly entitled to do so.

or maybe you can take your own advice until you can show people on here who want to keep him. Respect for the man is not the same as wanting him to stay

I don't think Fulmer will be a candidate for a very good coaching job out there. Most people with objective football knowledge accept his best coaching days are behind him.

Phil starting crompton is further proof he doesn't belong on the sidelines anymore.

He would be a good fit at New Mexico or Wyoming...
I would take either of those jobs. Two of my favorite states. Spending most of my time planning for college football...wait I already do that, just don't get paid. Sign me up.

The Vandy game is the biggest game to me, living 30 minutes from Nashville. I'd have to had to put up with the fans for 5 years had we lost this one game.

Would YOU have continued to play Crompton? Are you his dad or something?

then learn to explain what you're talking about. Or better yet just respond in the threads that already exist

I'm sorry. I wanted to say something and wanted my own thread to say it. I'm so sorry I disobeyed the rules of the forum gods. Please have mercy on me.

Sure, dude, I'm Crompton's dad (I didn't say anything about Crompton at all)

I'm wondering how in the world you could say that Fulmer doesn't deserve to coach anywhere ever again. Your logic is non-existent. I get it that you don't like him, but the conclusions you draw from his mistakes are mind-boggling.

SO do you also think that Bush should never be in charge of anything ever again because of Iraq?

I still think we should get rid of fulmer!! we score 20 points and fulmer just wants to run the ball up the middle! Hes to old school!

LOL i was thinking the same thing. Some people just need to enjoy the fact we actually won a game despite our offense. Man i'm happy we beat vandy, i live in nashville.

Wow. It only took us 11 games to find our QB. That was some great coaching.

Fulmer will be a great coach somewhere--NOT in the SEC. I'm thinking ACC.
