If you don’t think being bigger and stronger are assets in D1 football, follow pickleball as it’s more your style.
VNs finest wake up looking to complain about something.
Being bigger and stronger ain’t assets. Everyone is bigger and stronger that’s how they earned the scholarship, it’s their will to get even bigger and stronger that is an asset and if this team has that which it looks like they do, we’ll be in good shape

lol well they ain’t liabilities and it’s one or the other.
Almost every team we played was stronger than we were last year which is why we got shoved around on both sides of the ball. It was painfully obvious starting with OSU game the year prior and shirtless linemen looking like they hadn’t lifted all season before getting shoved around by grown men.

True. My point was they’re all big and strong some of them choose to get stronger while others choose to stay behind cause frankly they’re not interested, which has been us for a while.

Having the highest paid strength coach in D1 demanding accountability makes a big difference.

For a while? How far back does "a while" go in your mind. We finished in the top 5 in year two of a massive rebuild. Just two seasons ago, we made the CFP. Who, specifically, of our players "weren't interested" in getting stronger for "a while"?

Does this translate to beating Vandy?
Exactly. I get hesitant looking at off season kudos. I remember us clocking guys running crazy mph when Pruitt or Jones was coach. I think if the added muscle meshes with a true tough winning mindset then good results should come.

Bottom line is motivation. That's where a fitness cheerleader enters the scene:
