And they've all started a number of games now, it's not like UF has any freshmen starting.

This will be the most physical secondary UT sees all year outside of Alabama and UGA.

You all are looking at straight stats here, which is silly after two games against very dissimilar opponents. But what you aren't looking at is how this will be the first game all year where UT gets popped in the mouth. How will they respond?

You all saw how Florida responded in gut check time. Will UT be able to do the same?

I don't want to be a "negative nancy" but I truly do believe we lose this game. Why? Because with the exception of QB and WR, they have better players top to bottom.

Also, I think our players are going to come out completely JACKED for this game and it's actually going to work against us! We will make mental errors as a result and it will cost us.

I really REALLY hope I'm wrong because I am sick of losing to these A-holes! However looking at it impartially, you gotta give Florida the edge.

Yeah, I think these teams are more evenly matched than they have been in a long time. If this game was against any team but Florida, I would really be looking forward to this weeks game. the Vols are an exciting team, and I think they are playing well.

But Florida just held aTm to zero pts in the 2nd half. Three first downs. Even if aTm SUCKS, thats 3 first downs in the 2nd half. It will be interesting.

I know what side of this fence Im on this week, but when the week is done I will be back to enjoying watching the Vols.

Finally. Some sense. Even if the team we played sucked, we had to make good plays or it could be said that we sucked too. Using that logic, now look at Bray's numbers. His per game averages would far outpace UF's ability to keep pace scoring. Good luck Gators.

Yeah, Im just going to hold my breath all day, and hopefully I pass out and come back to when the game is done.

I havent been this nervous for a game in a long time. Not sure I like this feeling.

(but it is just a game, so either way I will be fine.....cept for the headache I will get from passing out!)

Well, the pointspread is UT-2' So you need to head to Vegas and bet the farm. Opportunities (sure things) only come along now and then.

UF has played 2 pretty good teams. UT has played 1 team that was projected to be good and flopped. GA St is-----------------gast. So stats mean diddly.

A&M would beat NCST.
Bowling green would beat Gast.

Stats are relevant----------------to schedule.

Last year the game swung after a serious injury. Could happen again so I wouldn't bet the farm on this game. I say VOLS close with a 4th quarter comeback. If the gators score early, this team could get its head down and start thinking "oh no...not again". Crowd needs to yell for 60 straight minutes.

So Bowling Green is a good team and the final score was reasonable for Florida? I will give you that Bowling Green would beat GA St and Texas A&M would beat NC State but saying they have beaten 2 pretty good teams is a stretch. And look at how they won. They have played one good half defensively so far this season. We are still waiting for the Gators offense to start looking good all around.

it's our secondary that scares me. Both their options at quarterback are below par but still, P Wag gets lost in space half the time. Georgia State burned him a few times...

-There special teams ARE better.
-I am not convinced that they run better. I say we see more Lane this week and pound it a little more.
