aTm does not have a knockout killer mentality. They let Tennessee hang around after 7 turnovers and had to go to 2 OTs to win it.

aTm wont be in ATL. I still have a lot of hope the Vols will.

I'll have to disagree, they really only forced 2 of those turnovers. The rest we just gave them and put the ball on the ground without any help from a defender. We gave that game away yesterday and aTm took advantage..... They didn't run over us.

Either we are the best team in the country or Tam is over ranked. Maybe both. You dont have 7 turnovers and still should of / could of won.

That game yesterday was an absolute war. A&M gets 2 weeks to prepare for Bama and will be well rested. Bama will have played 7 straight without a break and will be worn down.

Vols are already beat up, worn down and will be lucky to give Bama a decent ball game next week.

As far as predicting the SEC West A&M has already beaten Auburn and Arkansas and if they can slide by Bama - will have only Ole Miss to contend with. LSU is not really a factor. It could work out that they make it to Atlanta if winning head to head with Bama.

It will take a miracle of miracles for Vols to beat Bama but with this crazy team never rule them out.

No we won't. We were our own worst enemy in that game.. I'm not a believer in A&M. Bama will beat them solidly.. They may lose two or three before it's over. Better team didn't win that game last night..

If you were your own worst enemy against Texas A&M, then Florida, Appalachian State, and Virginia tech were their own worst enemies against Tennessee. You can't have it both ways.

You could say that about VT easily and probably App St too, but our D dominated UF in the second half like it wasn't fair.

Same difference. You heard Vol fans singing a different tune when they are on the other side of it.

It was a tough game between two talented teams. Both teams made mistakes. Both teams never give up. Both teams are very similar. Excellent defensive lines. Good running games. Elusive quarterbacks. Passionate fan base.

I went to Texas A&M and live outside of Knoxville, but I am a Volunteer fan whenever they aren't playing the Aggies.

Win the east, let's meet again in Atlanta for all the chips, and go Vols!

I almost wish I had a scenario like that. I grew up in Knoxville and graduated from UT, so I am a one team kind of man. I feel sometimes that I have very little perspective for other teams and their fan bases since I hate everyone that's not in creamsicle orange.

I wouldn't mind a rematch on this one though. Bama will be very tough for us though, you guys get a bye week next week right? I think I would just about kill for a bye week before the Bama game.

Yes, we get a bye week before Bama. It's absolutely going to save us. Myles Garrett should be healthy by then. He has a deep shin bruise, which is why he didn't play much yesterday. He has the heart and soul of our defense much like Reeves-Maybin is for you guys.

Admittedly, I wasn't a Tennessee fan when I moved here. But, Texas A&M and Tennessee are so similar in the way that their fans are passionate about football, and both schools have quality students and individuals. Plus, both are big into the agricultural fields. East Tennessee is very similar to East Texas which is where I grew up. But, I wouldn't trade anywhere for East Tennessee!

A&M fan here

And I get it, I would have sour grapes too after watching that game.

Weirdest game I've ever seen. Tennessee outplayed A&M and I think everyone could see that. But just like the App State games, Ohio games, etc. you can't take every game in isolation and project it. Our defense sucked yesterday, we were lucky to win. Bama will beat us, yes, but as for the rest who knows.

You guys are damn lucky for that bye lol. It took my all not to meltdown and post ridiculousness after that game, I wanted to vent and be that guy that flips out so bad.

Sick of this bama praise. They have a two game gauntlet ahead of em. We just need to take care of business and beat the heck out of em. Aggies just need to rest, heal up, and they can have whats left.

Not sure TA&M beats Bama. Will be an interesting game but Bama gets them at home, Bama's D matches up better, and plus for the most part Bama is healthy. Think Bama wins this one walking away. Trust me, they won't turn the ball over 3 times in the red zone. We should have been up by 21 but wasn't. It is was it is.........

If we make it to the SECCG, we play bama twice!

Yeah Arkansas has no offensive line. It's why they can't run this year. It's bad, they're bad.. Bama has a very fast defensive front that i don't think anyone matches up very favorably with.. It's going to be a tall order beating that team, for anybody.
