Recruting is the only thing that is going to solve our problem, not changing coaches every year or two, we have a few good players but we do not have one third as many as some of the teams you are expecting Dooley to beat! Get real guys, it takes time! We had very few D1 players when Dooley took over! This staff is recruiting very well! Quit gripping and watching for that light at the end of the tunnel if you are a true Vol fan!

After my Georgia hangover and my Alcohol hangover its clear this team is banged up has absolutely no depth. We as fans are SSSOOOO hungry for a big win but its just not gonna happen yet. Dooley has one of the toughest jobs in trying to rebuild this program. The SEC landscape changed in 2001 when Saban, Richt, and Spurrier came into the recruiting scene. Phil still recruited decently but fell off his usual pace of a top 5 class of talent. Hence we starting falling off the map. It was his time to go. Lane embarrassed us and more so himself and it was a knee jerk reaction by Hamilton to hire him so quickly. IMO Dooley has the right approach in CHANGING the face of this program. He embraces this place and I believe he will do well here if we give him the support and time to do so. OUR PROGRAM WAS COMPLETELY DEPLETED. We have to remember that. I think Dooley can recruit but only time will tell. I know time isnt what we want but you have to think hes only had one year of recruiting. If he keeps bringing in guys like Hunter, Rogers, Malik Jackson, and not to mention he doesnt overlook our in state talent even though its thin ex. Devrin Young he will have a great football team. Until his first recruiting class is upper classmen we really cant judge. Believe me though I HATE losing and I hate that its gonna take some time. All we can do as fans is get on board with his philosophy and staff and cheer them on even when we get the hell beat out of us ( this weekend and the next). Like it or not this coach is gonna be here for at least 2 more years.

Tennessee football is an after thought once you get out of state. The only people outside the borders of Tennessee who even talk UT anymore is KY. That is unless they're laughing at us because they play us that week. Face it guys things are bad and it won't get better if we all continue to accept mediocre football. Next year we will probably win 7 or 8 games and everyone will exclaim "see, I told you we're getting better". 7 or 8 wins should be a bad year at UT. My fellow Vol fans join me in demanding greatness.

And what would you do with all this apparnet $$$$$ floating around? Go buy some wins down at Wal-Mart? I hear there is a 2 for 1 at K-Mart today. Of course we could pay players, that always works. Perhaps we should offer Saban a couple Counties along with a $100million?

Yeah, it's all Hamilton's fault. Hamilton is also the reason UT hasn't won a championship in football since 98.

None of your post is true. Just ranting from one who does not understand how far Tenn has fallen. No matter who the coach is. It will take several years for Tenn. to excel.

Fulmer, Hamilton, and Kiffin put the Vols in a deep hole. It's going to take some time to climb out of it. We don't have enough talent and it's too thin. Carping about Dooley now is for losers and talking heads who are desperate for ratings or hits.

DD can't even manage the clock or take shots to win. Going for 2 on 2nd TD v. UGA might have helped keeping his team up. But no,..."FAIL" = mediocre coach

We scored 1 TD against UGA to make it 20-12. Why on earth would you go for 2 in that situation?

No ones folding our program has been through so much turmoil everyone said 2012 would be the earliest we compete. When we came out and dominated cincy we realized we are capable of competing now. That's when everyone was healthy, now we lost our best WR,QB,LB(before season),RB,and DB(also before season) we are not a program that has the depth and talent to replace those player, at the moment. It is what it is people can accept it or complain and continue to be disappointed this
