We WILL beat Vandy

Our line is down to third string at best, I’d love to win however I live in realsville.
I get it, believe me I get it. Two bad defenses against two terrible offenses. A tossup IMO. I am not saying we should win, but a win against a rival is always much better than a loss. I am hoping Kendrick, Richmond, and Tatum will be available. Coleman Thomas won't want to sit out his last game either. It may come down to Ralph Webb vs. John Kelly and who wants it more.

Vols must beat the vandie commode stain! I live in Nashville & attended games where we lost to them. Reveled in games when we stomped them, too. Vols will prevail! :good!:

I’d love a win, I just don’t see it happening brother .

I’m surprised you’re old enough to even know who Zappa is, did you have to ask your parents who my avi was? 😂

No. I only know who he is because growing up both my parents were always gone (doing meth, writing heartfelt pleas to the Tennessee AD, and making stupid VolNation threads), and skipping school and listening to Frank was the only way I could stay at least partially sane.

Also, I have been allowed to use the Internet unsupervised for over three months now (for better or for worse)!

The real question is, will we have enough of a team to play Vandy? I'm not holding out much hope for a win.

When I saw Jarett Guarantano get in the zone all excited and hopping up and down with his hands up encouraging the crowd to get into it, I saw a fire that wins.

I believe if each Vol digs deep and really wants to win an SEC conference game this year they can pull together as a team and do it if they refuse to allow any other outcome.

Dogfight is right. It might even end up being a war.

On defense, we need to stuff the RB Webb and neutralize him to the point he can't beat us as well as keep constant relentless pressure on the QB Shurmur to the point he ends up flinching after every snap.

None of the past matters now.

This season comes down to one more game.

Tennessee vs. Vanderbilt

It's an opportunity for this team to take history into its own hands, win the conference game so that we don't finish winless in the SEC this season or become the first team in school history ever to lose 8 games in the same season and it's also an opportunity to potentially still qualify for a bowl game at 5-7 providing a chance to finish the season with 6 wins if won.

Finishing 6-7 is much better than 4-8.

It all comes down to beat Vanderbilt on Saturday.

Go Vols!

I liked the excitement and teamwork I saw on the field last night.

being 5 and 7 with one conference win should not make this team bowl worthy.

Please man stop with the bowl game talk. WE are beat up enough, let's just get the season over with and hire a great strength trainer

Sadly, I've lost the ability to care.

I had a little before I watched the post game interview with the LSU players.

Night game at Neyland... and their only concern was the weather coming out in the 2d half.

Please let this be rock bottom.

We’ve got no other direction to go in brother, time to move on and look towards the future!

Same boat. I kept fighting the urge to turn the game off and watch Punisher on Netflix.

You should be very proud of him, he has excellent taste![/QUOTE

I am the proudest Papa ever. Not only does he have the music in him, he gets in the heart of everyone he meets. We got a call from his high school guidance counselor to tell us how good of a kid he is.

I did and continued my tour through season 1 of Iron Fist.

Gonna be a sad day when Netflix no longer carries Disney/Marvel storylines.

'Course, by then, here's hoping we have a football program with a watchable team.
