We will beat UF

I don't know if you are just being diplomatic, but everything points to a blowout.

How so? Granted, you'll win, but our D is stifling. You'll have to manufacture A LOT of points on defense and special teams in order to make the "blowout". What in your mind constitutes a blowout? Are you one of those 70 point bandwagoners? If you are, you'll be disappointed - you couldn't reach 60 against Troy. We're no Troy - to think otherwise would be a mistake.

Stats aren't necessary to prove something that you already know but just won't admit.
that's only true for you, given that the list of what you know is really short and painfully obvious to everyone else. Things that require reasoning are a bit different.

Insults are for the feeble minded who aren't capable of reasonable debate.

Guys, UCLA's defense was legit and our staff made the proper adjustments and we dominated them in every phase in the fourth quarter. I think those last drives were huge for our team. Sure we failed on 4th and goal but we still put together very nice drives despite the box being stacked. Crompton will be put in a situation by our staff where he won't have to make hardly any decisions next weekend. Look for creative running on the edges more dumps to Brown, with Hardesty up the gut in short down situations and bootlegs passes and short TE routes and occasional play action. This staff has shown they can make adjustments and we all know how good the D is. We can play Beamer style ball and beat them.

Also, UCLA is not nearly as bad as they were last year and like us has an excellent coaching staff. Yet we were still two TDs better than them with a QB who didn;t turn it over or a little better gameplan. Now Kiffin knows what he has to work with and will have a much better gameplan for the Gators. The guy is a genuis...just wait. He thought he could turn Crmpton inot a Carson Palmer...well now he knows he was wrong and will come up with a better plan for the Gators.
haha, i got nothing to lose by agreeing. i happen to always be convinced the vols will win until the final whistle blows.

and adages are for those who can't think for themselves. Maybe you could toss up some Confucius for us. I can do it to:

"him who go to bed with itchy behind, wake up with stinky finger"

They won't do it with those tough 150 pound midgets they have. Misdirection and tebag will win it for them. I expect that won't work as well this time either. Johnny's defenses were a lot less disciplined than this one. They'll probable wear us down though. I expect they'll give UF the short field a lot and stay on the field all day. Time of possession will probably be very lopsided.

True..UF looked like crap in the rain last weekend and the last weather report I saw there is a chance for some during the game. Other than that I expect the UT D to hold its own..i dont see the huge blowout most are expecting.

UF played like crap in the rain, and that's why, next time, they'll play better in the rain.

Mine was an original thought conveyed with wisdom and this is what you come up with? Nice work! :birgits_giggle:

Don't underestimate the speedy midgets. They might get stuffed their fair share but they will hit the home run.

well the barometric pressure was off by 2.6 milibars the norm for knoxville so that explains why our offense played bad, so next time we will play better in the different atmospheric conditions

I would love to take a drink, but I can not do it...I have never seen a qb be so inept and so scared in my life and that was against UCLA at home for goodness sake...If you listened to the call in show after the game and the locker room show you could hear the frustration in the voice of Kiff...When asked what he said to Crompton at the half, he said did not matter because it did not work as he threw a pick first play coming out...That speaks volumes for this kid...He has plenty of ability but nothing between the ears...To hear him talk, he acted like the team just did not do it and they will put it behind them and forget about UCLA as of Sunday morning...Hello, it was not the team that threw 3 picks and fumbled that led to 9 of their points...I do not get it at all with this kid...I so want him to play like he is capable but he has been here 5 years now and it is not gonna happen...I hope the staff sees that this week or we are in trouble for the rest of the year...Yes UCLA D was better than week one but they are not near what we will see throughout the year IMO...Only time will tell!

We always have a chance but it will not happen this week. UCLA scored 19 on us, short field or not from the INTs. Expect FL to double that and cut our points nearly half due to rattling Crompton. I am expecting a 38-10 loss. I refuse to be unrealistic and think we will win this game. Will not happen as long as we HAVE NO QB!

anything can happen. I do recall appy beating michigan a few years ago when everyone said it wasnt possible, the only folks that thought appy could win were some stoners up in boone

I'm not sure I understand this logic sequence.

Let me get this straight, suck once:don't suck twice.

By that logic, Crompton would be the best quarterback ever, including future.

It's pretty easy to see the logic. UF tightened up after they were stung by sloppy play due to the rain. It's obvious that the next time that they play in the rain, they will be more focused on ball control, rather than being stung again.

As a Gator, I've seen so many games in the rain, that I always expect a little sloppiness the first wet game of the season. They've always tightened up afterwards.
