Saban has been in the SEC for basically half as long as Fulmer's tenure in the league and has been a part of a much tougher SEC than what Fulmer enjoyed from 93-99. Saban makes his program... He is the program. He replaces assistants with just as good if not better assistants. The jury is not still out on Saban.

All I know is he couldn't get it done this year with arguably the best talent he's ever had, but for sure the best talent in the nation. He's never been at one program longer than 5 years. Next year will be his 5th at Bama. I'm not sure he'll stick around for a 6th or 7th year, but we'll see. So IMO the jury is still out on him sticking with one program and keeping it dominant year after year.

Bama losing WR Julio Jones, OL James Carpenter, TE Preston Dial, RB Mark Ingram , QB Greg McElroy, DE Marcell Dareus, DE Luther Davis, LB Chavis Williams, S Mark Barron and WR Marquis Maze his stock is up this year he will be a fool to stay . What do you think ?

I think they will just reload.

Given how he runs his program, that makes no sense.

Me too. They looked like that Yesterday. eh eh.

Hey, bammer has paid for 3 top 5 classes. They will still be preseason top 7 next year. Vols have a ways to go yet.

I didn't say they weren't good, I said they under achieved. What's makes you think they'll be better next year with less experience and less proven talent? And don't say Nick Saban or I'm going to think you have a crush on the man.

the funny thing is eventually, one of these predictions will happen.

people are going to claim they called it, when they call it every single year.

I'm just trying to make a point. You can take numbers and jumble them around to prove or disprove anything to a point. The OP stated his opinion and he was immediately blasted away for being wrong. To prove him wrong you stated your opinions as facts. From where I sit, until next year's season plays out, all I see is a bunch of predictions about the future. None of you know what's going to happen for sure. For all we know UT might win the NC next year. I sure hope our coaching staff has more belief UT can win out next year than some of you do, because until they believe it's possible, it will never happen. The facts are the facts though. Nick Saban's record is not as good as Phillip Fulmer's and nothing you do or say can prove he is a better coach. Period. What makes a coach good? Is it his record or his style or his conference or what? History will remember his record and Saban isn't the Bear Bryant some of you on here portray him to be.

Bryant 232–46–9 6NC 13SECC 13-0SECCG 12-10-2 bowl record at the same program for 25 years. Chasing a ghost...

I personally think that the only one that goes is Ingram. That is unless Julio, Marcel, and Don'ta get their draft stock shot up....as well as Courtney Upshaw. Which I doubt they ALL go in the first round.

So, I guess if Saban walked away tomorrow from Alabama, then he really wouldn't have a chance to get another job. I guess he better hold on for dear life at Bama.

If Fulmer would have wanted to be coaching in college, he would be coaching today. He doesn't have to coach. I'm sure he's been called about other opportunities, but told them he wasn't interested. He's a home grown product, and he's happy in Tennessee, so why leave if he doesn't have to?
