I am pertaining to Offensive coordinator Bryan Stinespring. Now this may actually cause more difficulty for your defense in the CFA bowl against us, but I thought I'd share the rumor.

"Richmond:
Our sources close to the situation tells us that UR Athletic Director Jim Miller is going to talk with Virginia Tech Offensive Coordinator, Bryan Stinespring,
On December 8, FootballCoachScoop sources confirmed that AD Jim Miller would talk with Vic Shealy (Defensive Coordinator/Richmond Graduate), Mike
Faragalli (Offensive Coordinator/Former Head Coach Toronto Argonauts), Kevin Higgins (Citadel Head Coach) and Tom Gilmore (Holy Cross Head
Coach). See than, Kevin Higgins, says he is not interested in the position."

Tech's offensive coordinator apparently sucks (according to them).

All I've seen is a guy struggling with a total lack of offensive talent.

Are you talking about VT?? I wouldn't say they have a total lack of offensive talent.. Have you seen them play this year? Williams is one of the best RBs in the country and will be a possible Heisman contender next year. Taylor is a QB that scares me bc he is mobile and we haven't done extremely well against QB's that can run (i.e. Tim Tebow).

My girlfriend goes to Tech, so yes, I've watched all but a couple of their games, two in person.

Ryan Williams is impressive. Tyrod can't throw well and has been less and less effective at scrambling. They have one really good receiver and no offensive line.

When you're playing teams with solid defenses, you can't win with one dimension.

Bingo! If we show up (which I'm sure we will) it will be a long night for Tyrod.

I was under the impression that you guys had lost one or two coordinators.

I may be wrong.

And I am not talking about being upset having to play an unranked team, so "ITS VOL TIME" can stop trying to pick a fight. Most of the Hokie fans are not as ridiculous as you may think, look in the mirror once in a while.

I came on here to talk about the game and our two respective programs, so get over yourself.

No coordinators, just position coaches.

O okay, then that is what I mean to say.

But I honestly didn't know Stinespring was in contention for something else.

If I were Tech, I'd give Beamer two or three more years and make Foster the head man. He won't stick around too much longer, I don't think.

They beat Nebraska....:whistling:

After being manhandled the entire game, they lobbed a lucky bomb in the last minute.

Maybe so. But VT still got to count that as a win and Nebraska had to count that as a loss..

I'm not saying we can't beat them but I don't want to be over confident thinking that just because we have a good D that we can't be beat.

I heard we were going to hire one of the VT coaches for ST. Think his name is Frank Beamer. Any good Pride?
