I know Tn. fans surely had more sense than to think that Lane was the man. He appeared to everyone as a joke who couldn't keep his mouth shut. Hey, Bama had Coach Fran who ran too, and Mike Price, if you are really good, you can overcome these mistakes.

At least Fran stayed 2 years, and left before Christmas. I remember when he preached loyalty after probation was announced. The players had a chance to leave without sitting out a year. Then Fran turns around and screws them.
