Without Reveiz making a great play on 2nd down, Jefferson is in the end zone. Also, the FB got enough of Nick to push him out of the play. Good block by FB.

What tackle did he miss on the 83 yard play, that was one on one with Waggner.

I agree. We had our chance, or chances if you look at the rest of the game. We shouldn have stopped that last play, we never should have allowed that first TD, we shouldnt have missed that FG, etc....

It hurts bad and it sucks. But you have to move on to Ga.

These guys fight and have a lot of heart. Lets support them.

WE HAD OUR CHANCE TO WIN.....On the last play of the game, when time had run out, we had a linebacker in position to stop the LSU running back at the two yard line and he simply missed the tackle..... :good!:

So we actually had 2 chances to stop him

Stop the 4th and 14 and its a non issue. Or convert the 4th and 1 and we run the clock out. It is what it is, on to UGA.

You are right though, Nick was in good shape to stop the RB short, just over ran it.

I'm not a Nick Reveiz fluffer, but he missed the tackle in the backfield because he dove to get around the fullback. That left him on his stomach with a small chance to reach up and bring the guy down. He didn't. Had he just barreled forward, the fullback absorbs him and you probably have the same outcome. Had he made the play, it would have been outstanding. I don't think failing to make it is really cause for ridicule.

I agree. I don't think this should even be discussed again. That would have been a pretty ridiculous stop and he didn't make it. There were plenty of chances to win the game besides that. The guy played great for 4 quarters. Hell our whole team played great. No turnovers. 1 penalty for 5 yards up until that pass interference. I think we have a well discipline team for the most part that made a bonehead mistake at the worst possible moment. I'm proud of our team and I think we will only get better from here.
