Defense did plenty to win the game. Also did plenty to lose it as well. There were some terrible PI calls, terrible tackling as well, not sure how you hang that on the DC. I mean when defense forces that many turnovers you would think it would be enough.

Wrong...if anyone would start on a good D it would be Butler and that's about it. Taylor and he didn't play.

Officiating aside, I agree on two things that decided this game:

1. When you’re up 21-7 and have the other team on their heels you score a few more times and beat them into submission “Mizzou game style”

2. You realize on the last drive that a field goal wins the game so you throw slants and sideline passes to get into chip shot range rather than bombing it to the end zone and forcing your kicker to try to make a 56 yarder.

Either of those options wins the game.

Anyone get a count how many times the announcers told us they were short handed with all their missing players....Every time we did something good, here came the constant reminder.

Did they ever get called for pass interference? I really don't know.

Defensive line didn't show up for 90% of the game. The DBs... Oh my goodness, just terrible.

The penalties... We got three ints but the DBs gave up big plays.
Need to get some DB's and LBs that can cover and some d lineman.

And the play calling was beyond suspect. No defensive adjustments at the half.

Why did we slip all game but Perdue didn't.
