We should be having Louisville's season

Lets be honest people, this team is NOT in any way, shape, or form the team we all expected. Why aren't we cruising and bruising like this surprising Louisville team?! Why are they relishing and thriving while we continue to bumble? My point is WHY Louisville? Look what they just did to FSU on Saturday...do you think we would have demolished that team? I'm just frustrated that we have suffered for many years now...we've paid our dues...supposed to be THE YEAR for us....finally....and we look like a lost, undisciplined bunch of clowns. Did Louisville just get lucky with this Lamar Jackson guy? Why doesn't that ever happen for us? Its like success and stardom comes very easy for all other teams...while our "supposed" stars continue to underachieve and underperform.

We were all duped and fooled to believe that this was a top 5 team with playoff aspirations...they look NOTHING like it. Hell, we're worse than we were last year!

Again, why not us? Why does the good fortune go to a program like Louisville??...just frustrating....

Louisville has a damned good coach. He knows talent and how to use it. He isn't the type to coach conservative or afraid. Full attack mode and that personality permeates the staff and roster. He's gotten results and the kids believe. I see little of any of that in our staff and roster.

Please don't scream back we're 3-0...its the worst 3-0 team ever. Are you really happy with this team? Be honest with yourselves...you're utterly disappointed. Don't be afraid to show displeasure....this team and coaching staff deserves all of this criticism in the world and they know it.

Butch Jones is not a good game day coach. Hes defiant, stubborn and clueless which makes it even worse. Excuses, excuses...all we ever get from him. No we just stunk...no that was a disgraceful performance...no we were sloppy....etc...no accountability with this staff.

I am certain that we have out recruited Louisville over the past 3-4 years as we normally do, so obviously it comes down to coaching at all levels. Bobby Petrino can coach at the college level for sure, he has made some bad decisions in his life that I am sure he regrets, but Louisville hired him back for a reason. We know Butch and this staff recruits pretty well looking at the ratings, but can they win big games, do they believe they can win big games.

I think most reasonable fans knew going into this season that we had a shot at the East and then once we got into the SEC Championship game, anything could happen. However I don't recall any reasonable fan thinking we were a playoff contender.

Well for now there's no difference as both are 3-0... but Petrino is a much better coach than Butch so I expect that will change soon.

One game early on your take. I see what you see but want to give this team until after Florida to decide. If Florida wins the ship will start to sink.

Maybe....maybe not. Even if he is, will Butch and Debord be able to utilize him to the level Petrino could? Sorry but I can't buy that. History is a great teacher. This isn't year 1 with Butch. We know what we have with this coach and staff. It's just that some just don't want to see or admit it. Hey, I'm fine with 8 wins and a nice bowl trip, but as long as he's our coach, I can't entertain the thought of championships no matter how well he recruits. After the last decade, I made myself a promise never to look down on any winning season again. I'm going to keep that promise, but I remain a realist. We swap rosters with bama or OSU and they'd still beat us.

Comparing Petrino with Butch is Criminal. There are level of coaches:
1) Nick Satan and Urban Meyer
2) Harbaugh, Petrino, etc.
3) Bob Shoops, Jimbo Fisher, Daboo Swiney and few more
4) Butch Jones, Mike Gundy, Hugh Freeze etc.

You can add more names to each category except first. But point is Butch and Petrino as a coach are on two different pedestals.

Or QUITTING on his team mid-season by taping notes to their lockers as he is sliding out of town (Falcons). This was after he looked Arthur Blank square in the eye and said "Count on me, I'm your man".

Is that who you aholes want strolling our sidelines? As a parent, I would NEVER let my son play for a scumball like Petrino. No way. No how. :bad:

Yeah, I just said that! lol Do they not look lost? Are they not bumbling? Mental lapses, boneheaded penalties, shoddy secondary (aka Moseley he freaking sucks). Id like to see exactly what you saw this past Saturday against Ohio.
