I am 38.

I watched my first game when I was 9.

There are hundreds of you on this site just like me.

Fans of the Vols for over a decade, over two decades, some on here for longer that than.

We have seen us win Championships, we have seen us stun people and be stunned ourselves.

We have held our hands up with only one finger and acclaimed we are the best in college football and we have walked out of bars, living rooms, and restaurants, with our head hanging low wishing we could take the anger out on something.

We have seen it all, felt it all, and experienced more of an emotional rollercoaster ride than most fans would ever want to go through--and most wouldn't.

But through it all...we never put down the Orange.

We never stopped signing Rocky Top.

We never stopped being proud of our Vols.

So tomorrow when we sign the second straight top 5 class in two years, and for the first time in over a decade, we have a roster full of 4 and 5 stars actually pushing each other, motivating each other to be best, you can have some pride that you stuck by your team.

You will never be a bandwagon fan.

You will always be a true VFL.

And you made it.

Because while others joked, laughed and mocked when you said one day TN will make it back, you believed, always believed--and tomorrow somewhere around thirty 4 and 5 stars are going to believe with you.

You weren't crazy. You weren't wrong.

We are back!

Go Vols!

I am 38 as well, we have seen plenty! Any normal fan would have walked away from the team they love, A normal fan would have left probably when Phil left, or maybe when kiffin left, surly he or she would have not been around for the Dooley years,BUT!!!! HERE WE ARE!!! WHY!!! WHY YOU ASK!!! BECAUSE I BELIEVE!! WHY YOU ASK, BECAUSE!!! WE ARE THE BIG ORANGE!!
GBO!,

I'll be 61 yrs old later this month and have bled Tennessee Orange for decades and that will never stop no matter what.

Despite my bad health I finally see light at the end of the tunnel and I have high hopes of seeing another SEC Championship and maybe another National Championship before I die and they throw dirt in my face.

When I die I'll be buried in a Big Orange T shirt with my favorite UT hat and some other things so I'll still be a Tennessee fan in the great beyond.

Live it, love it and bleed it because there's nothing better than being a Tennessee fan!!!

#BrickbyBrick...VFL...GBO!!!

Almost 32 years old here... been a fan as far back as I can actually remember anything. I've endured the last decade of ridicule of our program knowing that one day we'd be back. The other day I found a folder and a scrap book I made from between 12-15 years old where I literally cut out every article in the Commerical Appeal that even mentioned Tennessee along with each weeks poll rankings. Most girls my age where more concerned with watching MTV and shopping. I was obsessed with Tennessee football, and I still am! Married to an Arky fan now and he got kind of pissed when I showed him the newspapers I saved from the day after the '98 game. He's gonna be pissed again come October! GO VOLS!!
