After reveiwing Florida's recruiting on Rivals, It appears that they are concetrating on defense for the future. We need to make sure that we have the best OL that we can get. I noticed alot of 4 and 5 star defensive players in their mix. The reasoning for this post is because The Florida game usually makes or break our season. When we beat Florida, we usually are in contention for The BCS Championship until conservatism rear its ugly head within our playcalling during the final stretch of the year and we end up losing a game that kill our chances of a National BCS Championsip.

Fulmer will focus on recruiting lineman the next two years. We got our playmakers this year. It is now time to go after some big uglies.

Yep, we need those big boys in the trenches. This year was a prime example of how some talent at the skill positions can be fun to watch, but you don't win championships without stout lines.

Football games are won up front on both sides of the ball, we certainly need to recruit OL and DL every year as hard as we can. The one thing I wasn't real content with in this years class was only 2 incoming OL, I know we already have a few on hand but 2 in a class just ain't enough. Never liked Bear Bryant but the man knew what he was talking about when he said you can never have enough quality lineman on your team. Next year's class should be concentrated more on OL and DL to go with all the skill players from this years class.

I think it was Darrell Royal who said something to the effect of "Prayers for a win are usually answered for the team that has the biggest and best players".

Of course, there's nothing wrong with recruiting a bunch of tight ends and linebackers and turning them into linemen.
