It could be the death of UT long term if they don't.

Media can't spin the players themselves leaving because of the braindead administration.

If they don't national media will spin it hard against us, instead of just being the first fanbase to discover their own power through social media via protesting against hiring a Penn State vagrant, we will be 'toxic' 'stuck in the past' 'entitled'.

VolNation will be on their knees more than a Clinton intern praying that Doeren isnt hired tonight..

Yes. And just to be clear, I am talking specifically about hiring this Dooley clone David Doeren.

All the 'great teams' they will tell us he beat this year were all under .500.

UTAD is having people spin this situation in the threads. Watch this site and all forms of media... people on tax payer dollars will be posting positive crap to try and calm the outrage. They know they can’t win us over, but they’re making attempts to shut this frenzy down...

Yes, but let's rewind to Mizzou 2 years ago. unsubstantiated charges of a racial incident the police found no evidence even happened, and their team REFUSES TO PLAY if the President doesn't go. National media all over it and praising them as heros. They even get a big award for their brave actions in NYC.

This is like, a totally different scenario.

lets hope the players aren't stupid enough to do that. first, they would be crucified. second, VN spoke out. now it's time to take what comes. too bad most kids (under 25) don't know the meaning of the the phrase "you reap what you sow".

to be clear, not an age thing. but by all means a maturity thing

Not as far as national media should be concerned. What Mizzou players did was retarded. They crucified a college President over an incident that to this day hasn't been proven to be anything more than vandalism. The media reaction was 100% praise and we get clobbered. Total BS.

:hi:Absolutely keep the team out of this mess period. They do not need to be involved at all.

Don't drag the team into this ..... the fans have to take the lead in this one

I agree, but I hope every last one walks away. At best we can expect a significant exodus and will lose at least half of this class.

Neyland will burn if this happens. We'll have the biggest empty stadium in the nation.

Is there a protest this Saturday? If it picks up steam I’ll be making a 5 hour drive to attend. I’m canceling my yearly donation and season tickets tomorrow

Well they better be on Twitter or what ever else and kindly let him know we don’t want him,
Because he is going to decide tomorrow if he stays at NCSt or comes here, per Bleacher Report!
Maybe if he knows it will be a cool reception he will decide to stay
