We need a run out song

This is JMO no1 bash me for this ok just tell me what you think.When we played in the Chic Fil A bowl and Va Tech ran out to Enter Sandman it even got me pumped up. I think we need to do that with some song I think that it would really get the fans and players going even more especially the students. I dont mean we should copy Va Tech but it would be great to do especially if we ever wear black again we should play Back In Black.

Tech always runs out to enter sandman. NO we run thru the T.
Good idea if we ever wear black again. (i doubt we ever will)

...how about rocky top? I believe when at home we usually run through the T to that song

Actually its "down the field" But, changing it to "rocky top" would be kinda cool.

course part of the issue with what you're talking about was the GA dome stadium team entrances were oriented don't quite let us run out through the T

I say dont mess with pregame......its a tradition thats like none other in the college football world. Thats another reason that Tennessee is set apart from everyone else. I would much rather have the pregame that we do now with the best band in the land (The PRIDE) than any stock music playing through the sound system. GO PRIDE and GO VOLS!

I mean a song that acutally gets someone pumped up. Im pretty sure I can speak for everyone that when we hear Rocky Top that it doesnt really give us chills or anything or make us go crazy but there is no doubt running through the T does. I just think that it would be something different to try out and possibly make it even more exciting.

I've heard several fans that support other institutions say that Running through the T with POSB playing is awesomely cool, not to mention I get chills everytime I'm lucky enough to be at a game and experience it live.

ok thanks, my bad

i havent been to a vols game in a few years since i've been off at school....like 2003 was the last time i saw the pregame stuff; so i'm a bit rusty on it lol

I was at the Orange Bowl when UT beat Miami in 2003, I think we need songs like that on 3rd and 4th down situations when we're on D or throw some Welcome to the Jungle when teams are about to face our D...the U does that and it's awesome.
When they came on to face our D, every time, they'd have Bone Crusher and TI's "Never Scared" coming on just to intimidate UT fans and UT players. We need that at UT.
