I was watching the NFL network the other day, this clip came on and it got me thinking about what a bunch of pansies most of our players are. I'm not saying I want them stepping on other players while they are laying on the ground but our team needs a change in mentality. You rarely see emotion from the players and hardly ever see them even get in a scuffle with the opposing team. Our O-linemen are huge but they don't wanna attack anyone. That's why we pass block pretty good but can't run block at all. Their scared! Suh may be a dirty player and a headcase but he sets the tone for that team. When's the last time we had a player even get in a shoving match with another player?

In the video Irvin talks about Detroit needing to change the culture so while Suh needs to tone it down a little by not kicking other players... he likes the aggression and nastiness. I'm sure some posters will point to Irvins past but who cares. The guy played in the league, was a HOF player and I agree with him. The Vols need some players to step up, get nasty, and say we are not gonna take losing anymore. Does anyone else think we need some more aggression on this team?

It's the o-line that needs that fire the most. How many times you got to get your butt spanked to you get up pissed and knock someone out!

I'd take the college version of Suh. I don't want a guy that gets himself kicked out of 7-0 ballgame after we just stopped an opponent on 3rd down in the redzone.

Suh is dirty and that's how he's changing their culture. Not what I would want in a player. Good ones can do it without the cheap shots

Yet so many hate Albert Haynesworth, he has a mean streak too...

yeah we need more players trying to take out their teammates with pipes. Or maybe we need ones that lay down except in contract years

The meanest guy doesn't always win the fight. Sometimes its the one who utilizes the right combination of technique, discipline, strength, and the desire to win. That's coaching up talent.
